What's new

Religious violence erupts in Myanmar

I don't hate Hindus, in Pakistan.

Just Indians. And it's well deserved. Now take a seat junior.

NOW NOW, Razzi.

We ain't got no complex..we're big on forgiving and forgetting. We don't hate Muslims either..its just that there are so may of us and so little space..somebody needs to be "sent away" to clear out space..its profitable.

Same with the Rohingyas..its profitable for us to stay silent on the matter so here we are profitably staying silent on the matter while building a nifty little road to Thailand through Burma.

Now don't blame us Baniyas for following the money.

.
even @xuxu1457's county china is doing nothing

What do the Rohingas have to do with us?

People are dying ask over the world, why should we only jump for Muslim causes, when even the Muslim countries in the region are not helping the Rohingas?

People in Somalia are suffering far worse. But nobody here cares, because in Somalia it is Muslims killing Muslims.

So biased. I never heard anybody here ever asking us to intervene when Muslims are killing Muslims. Only when non-Muslims are doing it, suddenly you ask us too intervene.

Our policy is non-intervention anyway. Even the Muslim countries themselves aren't doing anything about this issue. Why do you expect us to do anything?

A baniya fell off a building from the 6th story.

He saw his wife while falling in his apt. He noticed she was cooking and yelled, Don't make chapati for me, before plummeting to his death.

We all know how you baniyas are.

because being regional power you have some responsibilities. whatever muslims countries are doing, it does not increase or decrease china's responsibility, it can destabilize our asian region where muslims and buddist are living together peacfully over centuries, so we all need to work on this issue. buddist extremist may bring muslim extremist, two extremist groups can bring hell in our whole asian region.

I dont really care WHO intervenes...My question is WHY isnt ANYONE bothered?!

Let me help you with the answer there since it is rather obvious. Let's start with South Asia. China, India, Pakistan and Bangladesh notably cannot seem to agree on anything. For starters there is yet to come a formidable bloc in Sth Asia. Even developing African countries managed to create formidable blocs to serve the interests of their regions. The European nations are by and large masters of creating formidable blocs which includes the USA and Turkey to secure the bloc's interests. Russia has its own bloc in Eastern Europe. South America has created their blocs which includes Cuba. Come back to Sth Asia and the only pragmatic nation is China which is starting to create a common economic sphere. India and Pakistan as neighbors can't even agree on an economic bloc let alone a political bloc. Bangladesh is the filling in the sandwich which gets yanked inbetween India and Pakistan. The situation in Burma is bad. Sth Asia is impotent to act since they are divided. The rest of the world is too busy tending to their own backyards to bother about a few hundred Muslims getting massacred regularly in some far off place unimportant to them. Hopefully Sth Asians will realise the importance of political and economic co-operation. In my view a genocide is starting to happen and India and its neighbors are each pointing to the other and saying "you do something about it." Someday, the dark skinned people of South Asia could rise up and start slaughtering the fair skinned people there or the tall people may start slaughtering the short people and you will still be asking the same question whilst the answer remains obvious

We are non-interventionist. We do not interfere with other countries internal affairs.

If you want some help for your religious causes, first get the Muslim governments in the region to do something.

I don't know why you expect an Athiest and non-interventionist country like China to care about your Muslim issues when even Muslim countries in the region aren't doing anything about it.

Chinese think business first. That similarly applies to ASEAN states.

Western nations are a bit different. They may intervene on "humanitarian" grounds, but the end result is always to maximize their wealth.

But hey, legions of Buddhist and Muslim extremists sound fun. Imagine all of them burn, while we are the only ones surviving and thriving in the end.

Cruel irony, I know.

Relax bro. Take a chill pill, and enjoy the bloody circus. Personally, I'd love to see JF-17's being in service with Myanmar Air Force! One more outstanding service record for the "Ummah"!!

Does it really have to be a "Muslim issue" ? Can't it be viewed as a humanitarian issue? In all fairness to the poster he refers to China as having enough clout politically and militarily to intervene. The fact that the victims being slaughtered are Muslims is immaterial. They are men , women and children. This slaughter is happening next door to China

If you are talking about Bangladesh (which happens to be the only Muslim-majority neighbor with Myanmar), then no; they cannot do anything to stop the violence in Myanmar.

Meanwhile, those Arab fanboys be flippin' in their Lamborghinis! In fact, I doubt if those ogre-headed ******** know where that country is even located.

But then, one doesn't need to be religious to give an olive branch for humanity.

What you said is absolutely true, but only in an ideal world, not in this world. If those were some kafirs getting killed Muslims wouldn't give two hoots about it. It works both ways.

If it's not about religion then why don't you ask us to we intervene in the countries that are suffering the most? Like Somalia?

You only ask us when it comes to some riots in Burma.

Even "IF" we were an interventionist country, I still wouldn't want us to intervene in Burma. There are plenty of other places in the world that have bigger problems.

If it truly is about "humanity first" then people would be more worried about Somalia than Burma. Since their suffering is far worse.
