May 9th 2010, Russia will celebrate the 65th anniversary of its victory on Nazi Germany. I read about 165 aircraft will take part in the flypast over the Red Square (Moscow).
The May 9 Victory Parade on Red Square will end with MiG-29 fighters forming the figure 65 in the sky
Four flight groups will start off for Moscow on Victory Day. Helicopters will start from an airfield in Kubinka, long-haul aircraft from Engels, bombers from the Lipetsk Region and a group of MiG-29s from the Chkalovsky Airfield.
The Strizhi aerobatic team will end the parade in MiG-29 fighters and the Russkie Vityazi aerobatic team in Su-27 fighters. Photo: a ground attack Su-25SM taking off
