actually Pakistani/punjab government is also looking for a scapegoat for its incompetence, the rise in cases in punjab is probably being attributed to tablighi jamaat even though the PTI's govt was late in initiating lock down of the country.

Indeed, profiling should never be done on a matter of personal choice like religion, sexual orientation or culture....but when the experts say stay the f*ck home....stay the f*ck home. Then again our people (south asians) especially the ones who have not had the privilege to develop critical thinking or gain scientific education will end up listening to equally inept gurus, mullahs and priests and compromising themselves as a result.
