Once Lanka signed agreement with India on those issue in 1987, India asked Tamil fighters to stop the attacks on Lankan army. All fighters except LTTE agreed. So India sent army to kill LTTE.

That's what I sauid.

LTTE has a clear, open agenda of independent Tamil Eelam. How can India support LTTE if it is against Tamil Eelam? That's what I said. India neither supported LTTE or Tamil Eelam.

India armed Tamil fighters including LTTE to kill Sinhala soldiers so that Lanka would come to India and accept its demand in exchage fpor calling off the Tamil fighters. All except LTTE stopped the fight. LTTE said it would fight until Tamil Eelam is libertated. So India fought LTTE. LTTE is a principled group. I said its goal clearly. Never wandered from it. It did not cheat any one. Did not lie to any one. India did.
