Reckless Russia could accidentally trigger a third world war 10 NOVEMBER 2019

Threats from Russia are escalating, the U.K.’s Chief of the Defence Staff Nick Carter said, as new tools and weapons including disinformation and mercenaries could lead to miscalculations or even war.
Techniques including “disinformation, subversion, manipulation, assassinations and of course the use of mercenaries, which are very easily undeclared and non-attributable,” mean that “you can see how it could escalate and how therefore miscalculation would be a possibility,” Carter said, speaking in an interview with BBC Television.

Russia could therefore inadvertently trigger a third world war, he wrote in the Sunday Telegraph. U.S. Secretary of State Michael Pompeo has said that standing up to authoritarian regimes like China and Russia requires a greater joint effort from the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. London will host a NATO summit next month to mark the alliance’s 70th anniversary.
French President Emmanuel Macron, meanwhile, has called NATO “brain dead” and said its core collective defense commitments are in doubt, partly because of a fading commitment from the U.S. under President Donald Trump. Asked about that critique on Sunday, Carter said that NATO has been “an extraordinarily successful alliance” that is changing its strategy to adapt to emerging threats.

Some of those concerns have been brought to the fore in Britain. The U.K. Parliament’s Intelligence and Security Committee conducted an inquiry into the threat of Russian interference in British elections, but Boris Johnson’s government has refused to release the findings with elections looming. Voters are due to go to the polls next month.

Bloomberg last week revealed that the report raised concerns over Russian interference in British elections but found no “smoking gun” evidence of Kremlin-sponsored meddling. The Times reported earlier on Sunday that the report identified nine Russian donors to the Conservative Party.

Carter said that he couldn’t comment on whether the report should be released, though he said that it’s understandable that people are concerned about how disinformation might impact democratic processes.

Asked in a separate BBC interview about the report, Chancellor of the Exchequer Sajid Javid said that “when it comes to party donors, when it comes to the Conservative Party or any other party, there are very strict rules that need to be followed, and of course we will always follow those rules.”

The General also wrote in The Telegraph in 9 NOVEMBER 2019 that Russia's moves accidentally have the potential to eradicate World War 3.

Ah evil ole Britain, the Prince of Liars, Deception and it's deluded obsession with Russia dating back to the Crimean Wars. No it isn't Russia which would trigger any war, rather the tiny island if Britain with it's fragile yet bloated ego which desperately wishes that someone would believe them, painting Russia as the bogeyman.

For the World, Russia is the Phoenix that rose from the ashes of the bogus Soveit Union. For the Muslim World, Russia is Orthodox Christian, it is a friend, not an enemy. People don't believe the bullshit lies of the old Cold War days. The Zionist-West's days are over when they could fool the world with the Soviet bogeyman.

People of the world have now delved into the annals of history and have found that the "Bolshevik Revolution" was a Zionist encoded one, where the overwhelming majority of the Bolsheviks were/are Khazari-Jews, wearing the cloak of atheism. They were brutal in their rule and tyrannical toward the Orthodox Christians which constituted 99% of Russians. They, Bolsheviks, i.e the Khazari-Jews/Atheists slaughtered the entire Royal family, the Romonovs, despite the Czar having abdicated his thrown. Proof that the Bolsheviks were murderers and traitors to Russia, is when the "White Revolution" rose against the Bolsheviks.

You can't fool the world with you filthy lies anymore, Britain!!!

Funny this. A NATO government complaining of "disinformation, subversion, manipulation, assassinations and of course the use of mercenaries".
yeah, it does beg the question of how much of this we're doing to the Russians ourselves at the moment.
if their response can be called appropriate, then we either accept that both NATO and Russian forces are active in the world today, or we try to ramp down the number of operations these troops carry out through diplomacy.

but i'm afraid it's a no-win situation in almost every way.
if we keep sending our troops in, Muslims are going to have both massive numbers and the ability to carry out terror strikes.
if we supply warring factions of Muslims only with weapons, it'll create one big mess of violence, and victors controlled by superpowers.
if we let 'm fight it out with mere sticks and stones, and provide solid shelter to the refugees, we win.

I have a simple question. What business has NATO to do regime-changing in Muslim-majority countries and why should it matter to NATO if Russia goes into these self-same Muslim-majority countries ?? Iraq, Libya and Syria were not invading NATO countries, yes ??

a steady supply of oil at a standard price is what keeps our economies running, down to the very food deliveries to supermarkets.
