Isn't the M4 a carbine? You wanna compare it with a bolt action rifle?

For argument's sake, let' compare say... a Kar-98 with an M-40. Maybe the M-40 is more accurate, maybe it fires a bigger round than the Kar but just because it's outclassed, it doesn't make it "useless".
