USA could not protect it's own forces around the corner from Bangla in Vietnam fighting the Vietcong, where it was defeated about the same time and you expect it could do so for Pakistan?

The Mukhti Bahini Bangla fighters can be compared with Vietcong fighters - the differance being Pak also had to face Indian attack unlike USA.
