Reason For Electricity OutAge in Pakistan Today.

My dad known some high ranking officials in the Pak Gov. The other day when
he was talking with his friend in the Gov, and my dad complained over the
lack of electricity and frequent power cuts, his friend in the GOV told him, that
several thousand meters of cables were wired from Pakistan into Afghan side a while back, and Pakistan started to supply US and NATO forces in Afghanistan with a lot of electricity, which is then taken from the Pakistani people by there frequent powercut's, and this is not told to Pak people.

Now you know what PAK Gov is doing. And ask youself. Why havent there been any powercut's in past 4 days since Zardari came? He came and said "power will not go now" (even if he is the worst leader ever to become our president), he managed to stop the frequent power cuts in pak for Ramadan.

So brothers and sisters, this is the real reason for all the power cuts in Pakistan upto when New president came.

We are selling out electricity on expense of our industry, and nobody cares.
People are not told of this, and a common person thinks we lack Powerplants.
While we do lack Powerplants, supplying our electricity to outsiders on expense of our people? LOL...

What a Gov we have..

Inshallah one day we will have some loyal people taking over the GOV, and things may change first then.

Dear Bro,

There is an old saying that "suni sunai batoon per dehaan nahien dena chayyeh'. And so said that since the day mr. 10% swoned in there was no power cut, everyday in karachi there is a power cut of atleat 3 to 6 hours and it continues.

There is powercut for 4-6 hrs/day since he took office as usual in Karachi.

He came and said "power will not go now" (even if he is the worst leader ever to become our president), he managed to stop the frequent power cuts in pak for Ramadan.

He is not the one who has managed to stop frequent power cuts. In Ramzan, the office timings get shortened, that's why some power get's saved and that in return reduces power out timings.

It has nothing to do with Zardari taking over as President of Pakistan.

This information is false. The government is not paying the bills of elecrticity to the privatized companies, thus they reduced the power production. With the recent increase of elecritiy tariffs, the government will be able to fulfil the electricity production cost and thus since then, power production has increased, atleast in Punjab.

Dont know when we will stop blaming every thing on the US. One of the main contributing factors is that nearly 1000 MW capacity of the IPPs is not working. Because Govt owes IPP payment for electricity actully consumed. GOp has no money to pay, IPPs have no money to buy fuel, thus capacity is dormant.

We are howber blaming the shortage on the supply to Nato forces. At least they pay their bills.

Well Sir i agree with you on this as i dont think so we had supplied power to NATO across Afghanistan as it is not feasble in the first place keeping in view the situation in FATA as power cables would not have last longer than a day or two.
