New Delhi: We keep hearing several bravery stories of our Border Security Force soldiers - sacrificing their lives for the nation, protecting the motherland and many more. But, this is one rare story when BSF played 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' to a 5-year-old deaf and mute Pakistani girl.


The BSF on Saturday handed back a five-year-old deaf and dumb Pakistani girl to their Pakistani counterparts after she inadvertently crossed over into Indian territory in Punjab`s Abohar sector.

"At about 10.30 am., BSF troops of border outpost Natha Singh Wala, Abohar sector, apprehended one Pakistani girl (age around five years) while she inadvertently crossed International Boundary, entered inside Indian territory and reached near border security fence," said BSF DIG RS Kataria.


"During questioning, the Pakistani girl was found deaf and dumb and could not reveal her name. She inadvertently came inside Indian territory and was apprehended by alert BSF troopers. Pakistan Rangers were contacted and the girl was handed over to them at 2 p.m. on humanitarian grounds," he said.

Maybe Rangers had notified of a potential cross over. There is precedent where details of missing persons near the border have been shared with the other side after being notified by the family of the concerned.

Very nice and noble act BSF deserve the respect, credit goes to the movie Bajranghi bhaijan because positive things bring good change in society.

I met many IOK people outside Pakistan and they cried like hell about butchering and rapping of there children .So by logic hindu population if is decreasing it means they are under attack

How the hell did she cross the border when the entire border is Fenced ? This happened in the Abohar sector.
