On women security case, we are in top list and Pakistan comes in 6th place. I don't see any difference between India and Pakistan. We are big country so even incident numbers are high.

I am not defending my country ...yes, we are not best country for Women security but even don't see any south Asia country is best. we all south Asia countries are facing almost same kind of challenges.

There is massive difference between India and Pakistan. Pakistan is not the most dangerous country for women in world. People are not shitting on roads, nobody rapes tourists in Pakistan.

I think what that girl has described is reality of India. You only know the real India when you go there.

Everything she has said is true, when my girlfriend and I were in India we experienced the same thing, my girlfriend is still suffering from depression after her sexual assault, I should have ripped the skinny Indians ugly, disgusting face off but I was with my girlfriend and we were surrounded by a mob so we just got out of there. I have a Dutch friend at work who visited India with his girlfriend. Nothing but a disgusting nightmare. Wherever they went the woman got harassed by Indian men in the presence of her boyfriend! The guy knocked a few Indians out because they became too touchy. LOL it is funny what he said. I'll never forget. They couldn't touch his girlfriend even if they wanted to because she was much taller and stronger than skinny short Indian men. She pushed them back, but they would gang up with many more. Sometimes they would try to lure the guy away and prey on his girlfriend. Man, the guy got nothing good to say about his experience in Hindustan.

The rape stories confirm a very true side of India. There is something twisted about Indian men.

The reason is anyone can publish or write positive, negative or even fake testimony in social media platforms and their is no way the authenticity of the same can be checked/proved completely beyond doubt in most cases. And yes, a lot of people take these at face value.

But for the majority it's the word of mouth, the first had experience of our friends, family and acquaintance which is more valuable than these petty social media responses. The reason why even after a lot of negative propaganda online our tourism industry is leapfrogging YOY. And it's all that really matter.

Yet you won't be able to differentiate whether people in r/india are all Indian's . At-least can you tell me the real identity and nationality of anyone of us in this forum ???

So negative and positive aside, I just mentioned how the real world works. If I'm gonna visit some place I will ask my friend and family or try to find someone I know who had already gone there or even try to find some contact where we are planning to go. And I guess most people with some common sense will do that instead of blindly trusting reviews online. And sorry, I'm not sure about others.
