Reaction of the Americans to the Japanese natural disasters

The reactions of some Americans to the natural disaster is "unsurprising". After all the BIG MACS that they consume so ravenously has to settle some-place; .....in their Brains!
But having said that, it will be grossly unfair to characterize ALL Americans generally.

American people are very bi-polarized, some are very smart and very nice people, whereas some other...[MOD EDIT]

The democracy is good, but sometimes it can also become a tyranny.

HAHAHAHA!

Mr. Quick Wit, it is democracy that these people are allowed to say their preposterous opinion in the open, and let you see what is going on. Thank democracy for this sneak peek of yours. It is democracy that the US has close relations with Japan, simply because the majority of the people in the US are not what has been portrayed here. Thanks for the good laugh!

@ the thread starter, were you not one of those saying that majority of the Americans are not like that when one pastor openly announced that he would burn Koran? You are not only very wrongly depicting the views of a few as views of the majority, but you are also trying to color the opinions of those that are not as well informed as you may be. At least think of those Pakistanis who are in Pakistan, are already plagued by anti-Americanism (at the hands of the likes of Zaid Hamid), and cannot have a first hand experience of what American people are like. If it were not for the open minded Americans, your uncle won't be working in the Pentagon. You yourself might be complaining here about citing your personal experiences at school. But I guess you are pretty fine there, while having fun with others here. Good luck with your portrayal of a few rednecks as the entire US.

Ah yes, please do not waste time to reply to me, for for once let me also try to live with my closed opinion - of you.

:coffee: You do not understand the Japanese people. They never really surrender to the USA.
They can wait patiently for hundreds of years, Waiting for the enemy weakness or opportunities arise, And then give revenge.

"One should bide one's time and wait for the right opportunity to seek vengeance(君子报仇十年不晚)." Chinese people understand the Japanese.
East Asians all are the assassins, not the warriors. Americans have been known it through the Pearl Harbor.

I meant we should try to build a benevolent democracy, not a tyrant democracy.

If everyone is a warmonger, then this democracy is definitely a tyrant one.

Indeed, they pretend to hate the Chinese people most, a good tactics to sneak under the watching eyes of US.

Chinese Netizens Reaction to Japan Earthquake & Tsunami - Shenzhen Stuff

No, I'm not going to say its the fat from the pork dumplings thats gone straight to the brain of chinese, its just that some idiots will make such comments, typically on the internet, and one can only ignore it.

Whats disappointing is that another set of idiots will use such anonymous comments to make ideological (ahum!) arguments, or racist taunts or generally vent their real bias and hatred.

But US has already castrated the military industry of Japan.

Without the help from China, there is no way they can get their revenge done.

US Readies Earthquake Relief Response

WASHINGTON, D.C. - President Barack Obama sent condolences to the people of Japan on Friday and said the United States stood ready to help its close ally in the wake of a massive earthquake and tsunami.

The U.S. Defense Department was preparing American forces in the Pacific to provide relief after the earthquake, which generated a tsunami that headed across the Pacific Ocean toward Hawaii and the west coast of the U.S. mainland.

Hundreds of people were killed in Japan, and the death toll was expected to rise.

"The friendship and alliance between our two nations is unshakable, and only strengthens our resolve to stand with the people of Japan as they overcome this tragedy," Obama said in a statement.

His chief of staff, Bill Daley, awakened the president to tell him about the earthquake at about 4 a.m. EST.

The U.S. military effort included at least six U.S. Navy ships, although defense officials had not yet received a request for assistance from the Japanese government, Pentagon spokeswoman Navy Commander Leslie Hullryde said.

"We are positioning our forces so we are ready to respond and provide disaster relief, if requested," she said.

--------

As when Pakistan was hit with devastating floods and as when the Indian Ocean tsunami devastated many countries' shorelines, the United States is ready to respond with humanitarian aid without condition. Taking the posts of idiots on Facebook as a representation of the reaction of the American people is as stupid as blaming the Americans for attacking themselves on 9/11.

Reaction of Chinese to the Japan natural disasters

200 OK

You should know that over 30 million Chinese had died during the Japanese invasion, and there is no official appology. So some Chinese have more right to blame the Japanese than Americans.

Americans already got their revenge by nuked Japan twice and forced them to surrender. There is no reason to hate them anymore. Otherwise, they have really shallow mind to live in this World.

:pop: In fact, Chinese and Japanese are not enemies, not friends. The relationship between the two countries will change with the political demand.
We have the same culture, we all understand each other.
