Raymond Davis case: UK's Telegraph reports, he 'was acting head of CIA in Pakistan'

there is a news story in Daily Pakistan Peshawar where it is claimed that the real name of Davis is Eric Prince

lets see what is coming out further

But Eric (Erik) Prince is the name of the CEO (maybe former CEO now) of BlackWater. I don't think that's Raymond's real name.

The incident is much bigger relative to the coverage it is receiving in US. I get all American channels, and the only time I see it getting mentioned is when they do a run through of the top stories where they mention each news for 20 - 30 seconds. To me, it suggests that US government is using all its power to keep its citizens misinformed or in the dark. It raises a lot of question about media freedom in the US.

A breath of fresh air

“Involvement of CIA with Raymond Davis (who killed two Pakistanis in broad daylight) is beyond any shadow of doubt” is a veritable bombshell the ISI has thrown. And in an atmosphere of widespread public dismay on account of the feeling that Pakistan is resisting US pressure about the Davis affair only by taking shelter behind the court case against him, ISI’s fearless exposure of CIA’s designs against our national interests, as given in this paper’s exclusive story yesterday, comes as a breath of fresh air. It would further deter the federal government from buckling under the US pressure. It must be stated that but for the fear of judicial anger and public backlash, it seemed likely that it would submit to threats from American officials and quietly agree to repatriate Davis after giving him the required diplomatic immunity cover. Other complicating hurdles to releasing him have been: first, the Punjab government’s refusal to ignore the gravity of the crime Davis so blatantly committed and let him off and, second, former Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi’s outspoken details, given to the media, of the American manoeuvrings to wangle for the killer diplomatic immunity from the back date.

ISI sources, while acknowledging that the professional relationship, which the premier intelligence agencies (CIA and ISI) enjoyed, has grown stronger over the years, for the first time came out in public saying that the conduct of CIA around the tragic incident of the murder of two Pakistanis has “virtually thrown the partnership into question” and “it is hard to predict if the relationship will ever reach the level at which it was prior to the Davis episode.” The Pakistani agency has done well to go on record in its criticism of CIA for its arrogance and leaking baseless stories to the media, adding the “insinuations of ISI helping in relocating and protecting the Haqqanis are nothing but insinuations”, which tended to put into doubt Islamabad’s sincerity about combating the curse of terrorism, and regretted that it failed to show respect to the mutual relationship. It was also reassuring to hear the clear-cut assertion from the ISI source telling CIA off that it should not remain under any illusion that it would work against Pakistan’s national interests in compliance with CIA’s wishes. In his words, “It is unfortunate that the CIA leadership fails to understand that the ISI works and will continue to work for national interest regardless of the desires of CIA.”

That's because Pakistan has the higher moral ground in this matter. The US is bullying, pure and simple. The US govt. is executing a very carefully crafted media campaign to manage American publc opinion.

My guess is he (RD) would not be the only one involved in supporting terrorist activities in Pakistan.

The fact that the US gov is claiming that he is an official of the US embassy/consulate for claiming his immunity from criminal charges only confirms that US government is knowingly and willingly involved in terrorist activities in Pakistan their so called most important alley on WOT.

Based on this official confirmation GOP should immediately review the visas issued to the US persons in the last 10 years and cancell them all except for the ones who were there before the flood gates to US mercenaries were opened by the Musharraf government and that bastard of an ambassador in US. If US does bnot expel him, GOP should call him back, I wonder how much $$ he gets for each visa issued to these undercover cia operatives aka terrorists.

Based on the information gained from this american terrorist RD, GOP should ask us to close their consulates throughout Pakistan as they don't even issue visa's and don't do any public dealing.

I think this case has given a golden opportunity to Pakistan to rid itself from the thousands of illegal american mercenaries sponsoring & promoting terrorism in Pakistan.

GOP should take a bold step and try that bastard RD and his organisation and the government they represent on charges of terrorism.

I honestly believe we will be better off without this us menace, yes we will face some economic difficulties in the short term, but in the long run we will benefit.

Thats really what i call false reporting....

he only relevant question is: Was he notified as a member of the administrative and technical staff upon entry to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs? And the answer to that question was yes

upon entry the Ministry of foreign affairs when notified issues a diplomatic status to for that person. and reality is its never given so it means Pakistan still havent accepted this guy as diplomat .....
its as simple as a guy like to stay in my house as a guest who needs my permission before entry but without my permission that guy will be considered as robber :)......i hope you understand the issue here which media sometime does not show...

100% one sided story./....... no immunity whatsoever....

further to this all visa applications says about giving right information about yourself and in case of wrong information given visa is considered void and null.
so this guy need to face justice in Pakistan.....

let the US people bark .....
