yup- now we should wrap him in gold gift paper instead of regular paper- and present him to America-- :D

I am thinking more in terms of lots of bubble wrap and foam peanuts, just to be sure the precious cargo remains safe until it is dispatched to its owner! :D

depends what you mean by care, hopefully you dont mean weakness and capitulation.

Care means not playing checkers in a chess game. There is much more to this set up than merely one piece on a large and complex board. Care means thinking several moves ahead, the more the better. :D

LOL! My meaning is quite clear, but to make it real simple, what I am saying is that Pakistan should not be so fixed on "winning" the RD affair and loose sight of the next steps to come from the other side. Remember, one of Hillary Clinton's favorite strategies is "Never let a good crisis go to waste!" ;)

hang on, if the RD case is indicative of a wider malaise - the malaise of CIA/blackwater types causing havoc then you need a pretty solid reason to say why you should not try and win when the security of the nation is at threat.

now vcheng, your chance to shine is now, can you clearly state what reasons there could be not to "win" the RD case?

My dear Sir, I do not post to make points or to shine or not. Further, please realise there is no "winning" RD's case. Pakistan will pay a price, the only matter is when and what form it will take when extracted.

It is not for me to decide what Pakistan should or should not do in this case. I speak out only about keeping the inevitable consequences in mind when Pakistan does decide what to do. At least I will know that I tried to do my part in preventing the adverse outcomes that will surely come. I have warned before, Pakistan can ill-afford a Pyrrhic victory.

Am I clearer to you now? :D

US drone kills six in South Waziristan

Updated at: 0216 PST, Monday, February 21, 2011

PESHAWAR: A US drone attack late Sunday killed at least six people South Waziristan tribal district, officials said.

An intelligence official who confirmed the attack put the toll at six dead and two wounded.

The unmanned aircraft fired three missiles at the house in Kaza Panga village, 15 kilometres (10 miles) west of Wana, the main town in South Waziristan.

The attack was the first since a US gunman shot and killed two Pakistanis in Lahore on January 27, triggering a diplomatic row between Pakistan and the United States.

no, not really clearer, sorry to say.

if pakistan were to pay a cost what would it be? this is a fairly crucial point vcheng, else its just a time waste for all.

secondly if pakistan are to pay a cost what does this say about our "friendship" with the US, and is it one worth having if there is the threat of ruin?

is it not better to be free then in chains, this is the fundamental question you need to answer, explicitly.

In a surprise advancement to the continuously heated coverage over killer 'Raymond Allen Davis', the UK's Guardian newspaper has come out with a comprehensive expose of the person who is as established CIA spy.

Davis has been the spotlight for local media in Pakistan. The gradual release of documents pertaining to his arrest and items seized from his possession have raised alarms in Pakistani media. However, all these facts were already known by Pakistan's quiet but active intelligence agencies whose primary task is surveillance, monitoring and overturn of spies and terrorist elements within the country.
Few may know that in 1979, a group of CIA operatives posing as "diplomats" in the US Embassy Islamabad were on a mission to find the whereabouts of Pakistan's nuclear research labs at Kahuta, just outside Islamabad. Their objective was not only to take pictures of the sensitive installations but also to carry out a rogue attack on the site so that the US administration can cite that as an imperative for carrying out operations against the labs by world approval. In the coming times in Osiraq (Iraq), Israel had already bombarded the atomic reactors being made with the help of France. However, the CIA had failed in their attempt due in part to Pakistan's vigilant counter-intelligence. The operation against CIA interference was codenamed "Rising Sun" (1979). Later on as per its specialty, the ISI turned one of the CIA operatives Codenam "Star" into a double-agent who was feeding false information to Langley, in turn being used as a useful pawn for Pakistan. The operation proved to be a success and in the coming years before and during the Afghan Jihad, nuclear engineers at Kahuta Research Labs had announced that Pakistan has finally developed nuclear warheads.

Why is a nuclear Pakistan a great cause of concern to US interests in the region?

To date, Pakistan is the only country with fully developed nuclear warheads and missiles (indigenous). Henry Kissinger promulgated the concept of the "Islamic Bomb" to set fear in the hearts of nation states who were already wondering why Pakistan needed such arsenals in the first place. Fact is, it was India who had initiated the race for nuclear attainment, Pakistan merely followed as an open sign that it will not be bogged down.

Today, the same scenario is prevalent. The American and Allied Forces in Afghanistan are facing a humiliating defeat at the hands of the Taliban who are using age-old weapons from the Afghan Jihad days. To distort the communication between the Afghan Taliban and the Pakistan military, the CIA's covert recruitment department had setup a mechanism for their militant unit "Al-Qaeda (Al-CIAda" to penetrate into Pakistan from the Caucasus, Yemen, Germany and Africa so that the Pakistan Army can be kept engaged in battles within their own soil against supposedly "home-grown militants". It has already been widely speculated that the "Pakistan Taliban" or simply TTP is itself fomented by the CIA to create mayhem across Pakistan in the name of "Islamic Jihad". Centuries ago, Hasan Saba provided his "Hashisheen" (Assassins) to royal states for carrying out clandestin guerilla warfare in enemy territory acting occasionally as hired death-squads.

Same tactics have been employed by the CIA's Mind Control training to the TTP which revolves around quoting verses from the Qur'an out of context, distorting verses according to the need of time and for intended purposes. The Express Tribune reports here:

“They would translate the Holy Quran to their own advantage, to say, ‘O, Atheist army of Pakistan…’,” Naeem, a former Swat Taliban collaborator who is being rehabilitated by the Pakistan Army.

“We were misled by Taliban. They would also often translate [Quranic verses] to say ‘O, People of Swat…,” Naeem, a resident of Battkhel, says. “It was our lack of knowledge that allowed them to mislead us. When we learnt the real Quran, we found nothing like it and realised that they were liars and hypocrites.”

Rasheed Ali, a resident of Barikot says, “They only repeated the verses on Jihad. They moulded it in a completely distorted manner and we believed them because we had no knowledge.”

Some pictures of mind-control brainwash camps can be seen below:

'Umar' is the name of the TTP's media wing alongside "As-Sahab" and "Fatah" media (owned by Al-CIAda).

The snapshot from this video shows how innocent fragile minds are being subjected to extensive brainwashing.

There are certain 'indicators' which can turn a subject on or off. Some of the paintings found inside the walls of these compounds contain lush valleys, lakes and 'beautiful women' as "gifts" that await these "martyrs" in "Paradise":

This wall-painting shows a "lake in paradise" with "naked virgins" bathing, awaiting the "martyrs" who are to reach them after a successful suicide operation.

Similar mind-programming paintings depicting "life in the hereafter" for each 'fidayee' (activist).

This is the extent of brainwashing, where according to the video record, a 12-year old boy is seen beheading an alleged "spy".

The Pakistan Army had started a deprogramming centre in Peshawar for special rehabilitation of such children before they are misled to commit terrorism while they are themselves deceived to be doing "Holy War".

WHERE DOES RAYMOND DAVIS COME IN ALL THIS?

'Davis' is but one of many spies that are operating within Pakistan covertly. Some work for the CIA, others are Xe operatives. And astonishing is the fact that some also work for a 'private mini-CIA' under Duane R. Clarridge.

According to a report in the Daily Express (Urdu) newspaper, Raymond Davis has a group of 75 other colleagues who came to Pakistan during the flood catastrophe. He has been working as Senior Agent Incharge for his group and the divisions for which he was regional incharge include Lahore, Sargodha and Multan. He was frequently visiting certain madrassahs in South Waziristan as is also seen from his phone records.

The Lashkar e Jhangvi Al-Aalami (Global Battalion of Jhang) is a partner syndicate of Hakimullah Mehsud's TTP. It was Lashkar e Jhangvi which had murdered Khalid Khwaja (former ISI operative) and recently, a footage by the TTP's 'Umar' media shows Colonel Imam being martyred in Hakimullah's presence. Both Khawaja and Imam had set-off together. Their martyrdom at the hands of both these groups show they are one and the same.

Davis was taking sensitive pictures of Jamaat ud Daawa installations which could later on have been used by terrorists for attacking the seminary.

For an in-depth understanding of the scenario, we recommend reading our previous reports:

> US Embassy Islamabad houses covert joint intel command
> US Embassy Islamabad: Centre of Foreign Intel Warfare in Pakistan

The difference between the past and the present lies in the fact that previously, all covert operatives roaming around Pakistan were captured and deported, some heavily limited for their movements. In this case, Davis had killed two civilians in broad daylight exposing him to the public and media which is why this is a case of a CIA espionage and recruitment operation busted badly.

no, not really clearer, sorry to say.

Let me keep trying Sir for your benefit.

if pakistan were to pay a cost what would it be? this is a fairly crucial point vcheng, else its just a time waste for all.

The cost of keeping RD incarcerated can take many forms. As I just posted, the drone attacks have resumed and will likely continue. The real bite will come from economic sanctions when they are imposed, even covertly. A slow, controlled demolition of social structures can be engineered over a few years, with the evenetual outcome of an ineffective, fractured and pre-occupied military and all other state functions.

secondly if pakistan are to pay a cost what does this say about our "friendship" with the US, and is it one worth having if there is the threat of ruin?

Dear Sir, as I have said many times before, international politics does NOT use any personal concepts of "friendship" or "sincerity". US policies will proceed only to serve the supreme national interest. If Pakistan can align those interest in certain areas, the relationship will work after a fashion. If Pakistan chooses to stand in the way of achieving those interests, then the relationship will have to turn adversarial. Sometimes, it is more important to choose one's enemies even more carefully than one's friends, no?

is it not better to be free then in chains, this is the fundamental question you need to answer, explicitly.

Do you really think that keeping RD in custody will "free" Pakistan? Will education, health and other vital social services improve? Will governance work to provide justice and stabilise law and order? The political process will work freely? The economy will start developing by leaps and bounds? Power, water, and other infrastructure will start working to meets the ever growing demands of a huge population?

Freedom is a many-faceted word Sir. What do you mean when you use it?

.
If he is indeed a CIA agent, should he not be interrogated by ISI, so that we can know what exactly his mission in Pakiland was? Or we gna just rely on sources from outside of Pakistan?

Is there any punishment for a spy according to Pakistani law, assuming he was not a diplomat? Or the max we can do is expel one? Can anyone shed some light on this please? Thanks.

.
This also means US Government deliberately lied to Pakistani officials regarding "Raymond Davis". They said he was "just a diplomat". When in fact it turns out he is a CIA agent. He wasn't there for diplomacy, they use the US embassy as a front for their CIA personnel. This is a major breach of trust by US government. No wonder they were so adamant about him being released quickly before Pakistan's investigation discovered the truth.
