Indians for sure have learnt the lessons of the 27 Feb 2019 and are putting in place an action plan to increase their performance. They have the money to do this, and the emergency purchase of Russian AAMs tells you that they can get serious when they need to. I expect to see the Su-30MKIs to be placed permanently on airbases that are close to the border and Mig21s to be moved to the interior of India next, as their is no point in a Mig21 responding to airspace intrusion by anything now, tbh with you.

Things will get harder for PAF for sure, for the next round. PAF's ability to raise the bar is v.v.v. severly handicapped by the lack of money. While PAF will fix some of its issues, it wont be able to increase the GAP between it, and the IAF. IAF could achieve technical parity soon.

This is why JF17 Block III with the PL15 is so important for PAF right now. The next area of focus would be to purchase modern replacements for the Falcon 20's. They are old, and PAF only has 3 of them. This fleet needs to be built up the same way the AEW&C was built up.

While the funding for PAA can be frozen, or decreased, the funding for PAF needs to be reviewed again. The next round will once again, start in the air.. PAF managed to stop the IAF stone cold dead for this round, but we know that the Indians will be back.
