Bhai Sahib Mohinder Singh ji from GNNSJ, Birmingham being awarded a knighthood from the Roman Catholic church for his outstanding work in world religions and Interfaith diversity.

they are not even Catholics..Anglicans they are.

Erm, the Pope? Most English Christians are Anglicans so their head of the chuch is the Archbishop of Canterbury, who does not feature in any of the pictures. It looks like a local chuch which could be Catholic or Anglican.

Technical yes, the knighthood is awarded by the Pope, although he is not present physically at the ceremony.

Technical yes, the knighthood is awarded by the Pope, although he is not present physically at the ceremony.

Even if he had been, he is no longer personally involved in the proceedings. What Bhai Mohinder Singh got was the fourth most important grade of knighthood.

Technically, the Queen of The United Kingdom, Queen Elizabeth II, is the head of the Church of England, the Supreme Governor. The Archbishop of Canterbury is the religious head.
