What kind of MIGs were they?

Mirage 2000 not MIGs.

No surprise here. The KSA pilots have been trained by the best, and I don't mean the US either. :pakistan:

Much love to you my Friend. :pakistan:

"The naval force of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is known as the Royal Saudi Navy or the Royal Saudi Naval forces or RSNF. The Royal Saudi Navy came into existence in 1950 and it now consists of a total of about 20,000 naval personnel which includes a total of about 3,000 marines. The main base of the Royal Saudi Naval Forces is based at Jeddah with the western fleet based in Red Sea and the naval headquarters of the Royal Saudi Navy is at Riyadh. The headquarters of the eastern fleet is at Jubail and the fleet is based at the Persian Gulf. The Royal Saudi Naval Forces is the naval unit of the Saudi Arabia Armed Forces and it main role in the Saudi Arabia armed forces is maritime warfare. Some of the important world events in which the Royal Saudi Naval Forces took part are the Gulf War, The Indo-Pak War of 1971, Operation Restore Hope and Sa’dah Insurgency."

Our navy participated in protecting Pakistan in 1971. But then again it is not Pakistan you care about after all it is your religious homeland Iran that matter to you.

Qur'an is clearly saying Fight in the cause of Allah this can't be made any more clear then that. so you are saying Saudis supported Americans and help them kill 100s of 1000s of Iraqis and destroy Iraq was for Allah.

Operation Restore Hope · Anti-piracy operations · Sa'dah Insurgency. Commanders. Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Dakheel-Allah Bin Ahmad Al-Wakadani.

Clearly in 1971 we were looking for help against pirates as it was a big issue for us not the Russian and Indian navy it was the freaking pirates we were fighting.
The Royal Saudi Naval Forces was founded in the year 1950 and it was until the United States decided to help in the expansion of the Saudi Arabian Navy in 1972 that the RSNF saw rapid changes in naval development. The aim of the Royal Saudi Naval Forces was to get into the big league and to create a naval force that matched the Iranian Navy.

The evolution of the naval forces as a protective force in the Persian Gulf and Red Sea goes back to 1974 when the Saudi Naval Expansion Program (SNEP) was pioneered with the help of the United States government.

SO Saudi air force is being used to kill Iraqis Muslims during Gulf war and navy was built to match Iranians Muslims can some one here please explain to me whats wrong with this picture. But then again it is not Muslims you care about after all it is your religious homeland Israel that matters to you and having few 1000s Muslims killed for it is no big deal.:agree:

Well to be honest shooting a Mirage F1 (Pretty much antique aircraft) from an F-15 (one of the best air superiority fighter at that time) is no big deal.My guess is that that Iraqis did not even know what hit them as F-15 had far superior BVR capabilities.
