Believe it or not, today while speaking to the Air Directorate, he pointed out that since I display a PAF Officer's picture as my Avatar, yet my rank says otherwise pointing out that no such ranks exists within the PAF.
While I tried to explain that I am merely a forum member and the rank title is symbolic, the Air Cdr. was of opinion that this represents a famous and highly ranked PAF Officer in a confusing manner hence his appropriate rank of Group Captain should be displayed.

Or you could simply use a less pretentious avatar and do everyone concerned a favor.

The forum uses Army ranks, and therefore understandable.
