Every soldier on that stall confirmed it. That this Rifle used to be imported from UK but now being produced in PakistanI seriously doubt that! Provide verifiable source!
Laugh out loud. I absolutely agree. they also lack public speaking skills. it is sometimes painful / embarrassing to hear themjust so you know that the least knowledgeable is sent to Stands.
yes it is a military weapon. it is way beyond the allowed bore for civilian use.Is this product only sold for military purpose or in future licence for civilians might be issued?

Azb DMR is sold to civilians with a .308 license for a price of 200k rs. however they is one big issue, POF is not allowed to sell this weapon with in Punjab, idk why but at wah they will not sell it....those who managed to get this weapon had to wait for few months and had to get it to another province through dealer and then bring it back on their license .....it is on my bucket list as soon as licenses open, i will be getting a .308 lic to tick this box off my listyes it is a military weapon. it is way beyond the allowed bore for civilian use.
not sure if you can even get 7.62mm now

as far as 7.62 x 51 is concerned then POF is not selling is ammo to civilians, but they sell the Hunting and Match grade .308 rounds to anyone with a valid license .....if someone is looking for 51N rounds then green tip Nato rounds from LMG can be bought from Peshawar or Darra.....

I've spoken to the PA officers at POF.Not very re assuring explanation. RPA the manufacturer of Rangemaster has not announced anything. I have not heard anything of this sort in my professional circle. If we take the 'every soldier' explanation at face value, than the question is who is manufacturing it and where? Only POF in Pakistan is allowed to make such rifles under license and they certainly have not announced anything albeit they are making their own Sniper Rifles out of G3 stocks. So, unless we hear official announcements from the manufacturer or the local partner, this claim will remain highly dubious
It was being offered with TOT for some time. So not surprised at all. Secondly Pakistan doesn't announces all deals. Every soldier was saying same that RangerMaster used to be imported from UK but now being made in Pakistan. M-107 was also on display they said nothing about it except that it's USA Gun we use it. Also the Austrian Steyr Sniper Rifle was also there no one said it's being produced in Pakistan. Not very re assuring explanation. RPA the manufacturer of Rangemaster has not announced anything. --POF's only new sniper rifle design is the LSR/ASR
--The next-gen/new standard issue rifle has been shelved, but still open-minded. I was told "in the next 5 years, we'll get more out of new artillery howitzers than new assault rifles..." I think he meant marginal returns, they've already improved infantry to a point (body armour, training, PACES, etc), now how much more will you gain in the near-term with new rifles and sights? You'll spend $1bn for a 15% improvement, whereas that same $1bn can be spent on artillery guns and guided shells, and you'll get a 75% improvement.
