This statement comes just days after Pakistan accused Iran of hosting terrorists who killed 14 Pakistanis in Ormara. Irani head of state did not give any such statement or even mentioned the attack in the communique. Such a childish and stupid statement is extremely dangerous as India will use it as admission in FATF and other forums. Just to appease a ceryain aegment back home a self-destructive and useless visit to a sanctions hit country which affects Pakistan's standing.

I agree these issues need to remain in veil but you are missing the bigger picture this visit had more to do with Afghanistan peace process than Pakistan. Establishing joint border force is a smaller part of this whole visit. There is still much which has not been made public from the visit. Rohani also said Iran will not let it's land used against Pakistan but Imran was more loud so in a sense PM showed he stood by his word.
