Bro what you are missing here is that previously it was part of strategy not to let Baloch terrorist get linked but unfortunately they are linked and fighting them single handed is like banging your head against the wall. If the terrorist elements are linked the fight against them also needs to be linked so he need this statement more than anything and there is a whole school of policy and institutions behind IK which found it necessary for this statement to be delivered. Imran Khan here is not full filling his own wishes but he is following state policy.

We need to wake up and smell the arayn crap . Whenever time came they always threw you under the bus. Both these afghani Irani rasicts won't ever digest that a new player is in the town to call shots

Calling us new player is a bit short sighted brother. We are more stronger nation than both of them but what is the solution to this issue you tell me. If terrorist hit Pakistan and run into Iran or Afghanistan? Now Afghanistan is a lawless land and we can get in there covertly to hit such elements but it is difficult to do in Iran so working with them is only option. It will be like some give and some take. If you have a solution around it please spill it I am all ears.

Irani sympathizers are more dangerous for Pakistan than other terrorists..

And no, I am not talking about Shias, who love Pakistan.. I am talking about Irani sympathizers which include even sunnis.. and libturds.. and SURKHAS.. as @Areesh call them.

Most of the gangsters from Lyari Karachi were not Shias, but they were getting money from Iran, had Irani passports and IDs and were involved in Target killings of both Shia and Sunni scholars..

I think both @BHarwana and @Mentee are shia but are patriots, unlike some foreigners (most probably Indians pretending to be Pakistanis) on this thread who can't even read Urdu and talk about Pakistan..

Stop speaking the Truth!

They are freaking racist cunning and shrewd too! Iran almost had us bombed by the u n. If I got a chance iamma out them in their place and theirs nothing their vintage military woudk be able to do so. Nadir Shah, when the karma bites back part 2

A whore carries more moral authority then these ungrateful leeches. I don't know why thier rears get ignited at the mere mention of takin care of our own interests like Iran is some beacon of enlightenment

I hope pakistan is put in the blacklist by FATF after this statement so that this idiot can learn some lesson.

i dont understand what the issue is. Not even Iran is accusing Pakistan of sponsoring terrorism.

There is a border management issue which both are responding positively to solve

This is not just border management issue it is to impede progress on Gwadar port.

Gwadarport is more developed than Chabahar in handling cargo whereas Chabahar has better infrastructure.
This border was extremely peaceful when there was no economic activity.

Iranians since late 80s have been trying to find partners to develop that port.

They believe once situation improves there port would take off.

Unfortunate part is they are trying to use Pakistan image and security issue as that is the only thing that can stop Gwadar progress.

Their interests with India converge here. And Iranian revolutionary guard has many who support this view. They just want to keep the border in the news security wise, which is why news about mortar shelling, drones, terrorists given access to Pakistan continues to circulate.

Kidnappings, human trafficking, diesel smuggling has been the norm of this border since 50s.

Mentee, Mentee, my dear Young Pak,

The existence of Pak is a bone in the throat of so-called brothers.... how they convine with the enemies of Pak...

They lust for our Balochistan, our KPK, our Sindh and our Punjab...

But when you have #CriminalEnterprise hollowing out the State from within.. it becomes easy for 'brothers' and enemies to engage in blood orgies with Paks...

For how long Pak State will remain a bemused observer of this tamasha?

The entire system has collapsed. No one can/will deliver in the current system occupied by glorified coconut clerks aka bureaucrats....

As I have consistently maintained : Perservation of the State is the Highest Virtue.

It was true 1400 years ago... it is true today... and it shall be true tomorrow.

Regards,

Mangus

Iam not yearning for a war with Iran despite having an idea about the fact that the mighty white blue eyed military won't sustain for a day and will surrender eventually .iam just asking to look after our own - - - - - and pay in kind------.They only understand the language of fist and boot that's all

@PakSword

Anything that affects Pakistan negatively esp. FATF listing will also affect them [shia pakistanis].

Shia Pakistanis need to understand Iran is not headquarters of shiism. Azerbaijan which is not only ally of Pakistan but strong support base for us is where shia islam originated. Safavis were Azeris, even the present ayatollah Khamenei is Azeri. Azerbaijan people also are against Iranian practices as they are also affected by their polarization based on religion and ethnicity. Iran for its self-interest can even devastate their own people

99% understand this and love Pakistan.. just like 99% sunnis don't approve TTP ideologies..

Lets face its an open fact that terrorist operate on both sides..and joint force means both sides are committed
I thought this was diplomatic victory social media, hussain haqqani and talat hussian doesnt make it otherwise

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Monday took an unprecedented, albeit bold, step to infuse much-needed trust into the bilateral relationship with Iran by publicly acknowledging that terrorists had in the past misused Pakistani territory to undertake attacks against Iran.

The two countries agreed to the setting up of a joint rapid reaction force for curbing activities of terrorist groups along the 950km porous border. Pakistan further promised to proscribe groups carrying out attacks against Iran, including the Jaish ul-Adl and the Lashkar-e-Khorasan.

Speaking at a joint press conference with Iranian President Hassan Rouhani after their bilateral talks, Prime Minister Imran Khan said: “I know Iran has suffered from terrorism [perpetrated] by groups operating from Pakistan. …we [need to] have trust in each other that both countries will not allow any terrorist activity from their soil. We hope this will build confidence between us.”

Security was at the top of PM Khan’s agenda during his two-day visit to Iran. Mr Khan, at the start of his presser, noted that he had undertaken the trip and brought Inter-Services Intelligence chief Lt Gen Asim Munir along with him whilst realising that terrorism was becoming a divisive issue between the two countries.

As i have said it a million times before and ill continue to point out the obvious sectarian hatred disguised as selective patriotism, you say whats selective patriotism, let me put up a picture because picture is worth a 1000s words.

UAE awards PM Narendra Modi with highest civilian honour for boosting ties
United Arab Emirates (UAE) has conferred its highest civilian honour -- Zayed Medal -- on Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his role in consolidating ties between the UAE and India.

Mr mentee statement only applies to Shia Iran, but he will not advise you to wake up if the above pic is being played "We need to wake up and smell the arayn crap" :pakistan::pakistan:

@Indus Pakistan : I am just curious why are you going out of the way to defend Iran all the time?
I mean, yeah may be you had some good Iranian friends in the past and have some good memories. So do I, they were nice people and it was fun working with them. And oh, ALL of them hated the Mullah regime in Iran to the core!!

Pakistan has had a very soft spot for Iran for too long, but since the occupation of Iran by mad mullahs the relations have gone south pretty bad.

It is for a fact that Iran has been facilitating terrorism in Pakistan directly or indirectly (via India e.g.).

So good relations with Iran, yes. But should you just keep defending every move of these mad mullahs? And demand that Pakistan respect these mullahs regardless of what they doing in Pakistan?

Well, it doesnt work that way. Respect is ought to be a two-way street. Want some respect, then earn it by respecting others first. This is the message that we are giving in context of international relations to these terrorist regime in Iran.
