Thats not accurate.

Alternative or Traditional medicine is a branch in itself.

A large number of pharmaceutical products have their roots in traditional medicine.

For few thousands of years people who lived on this land compiled their knowledge of herbal medicines, yoga etc and called it Ayurveda.. Even today it holds good....

A few ayurvedic medicines do work I think. I have used Boroplus for pimples and a type of sore around the lips.

There are an increasing number of western medicine physicians who combine both.

It's called holistic medicine (healing).

Have an open mind.

I think what he was affected by was Bell's Palsy which left part of his face partially paralyzed. I myself had Bell's Palsy and it was treated through medicines ( including steroids ) and facial exercise. Ramdev seems not to have approached a neurologist to cure that facial paralysis.

Specially in the business and market. Also, Patanjali products are very much trusted.

And just when he was about to launch his noodles brand the government decided that Maggi noodles had lead poisoning and were therefore conveniently ordered off the shop shelves.
