RAM MANDIR in Ayodhya soon? Supreme Court offers to mediate, seeks urgent hearing next week

Well, I want someone to tell me how so many structures were built on ruins of thousands of Hindu temples?
It can not be that one fine day all these thousands of temples decided to self-destruct!

To point out, Palestine problem is very old as well. Imagine if some one told Palestinians to shut it and get on with their lives as they are now, would that be ok?
isn't that what you are asking Hindus to do as well? Shut up and get on with our lives since the crimes were committed long back?

It is always refreshing to read someone's post who is willing to be honest about how they feel. I may not agree with you but at least any debate can begin from an honest position. Well done.

@Abingdonboy I told you day before yesterday, the appointment of that no good Yogi was done to rile up Ayodhya again. See- it's already started. 'Development credentials' is seen so clearly now.

Yup and SC judges are completely complicit in that.

BUT forget that the thousands of temples were destroyed and as an insult to Hindus, we know what they turned into.
Oh, keep up the game. We need the hatred of sickualars towards Hindus. That is the only way we will unite like we did in UP to kick out the enemies.

Now that is a sensible position. However, the time for common sense was before these nutcases were put into power. Now that they are there you will see common sense becomes increasingly uncommon and India will go down the same road that Pakistan went down with Zia ul Haq. We have seen this before. You havent. Indian secularism made it immune to religious bigots and opportunists coming to power, yet you allowed its gradual erosion and now? Remember Pakistan was quite liberal in the 1960's with a rapidly developing economy. In the 1970's we became a basket case. That was thanks to religious zealotry. Just look at the attitude of your countrymen. They are relishing the thought of killing India's secular spirit. Without it, this Indian Union will not stay the way it is. That I guarantee you.

polity is always a battle between right and left. That, after 70 years India went right is not unsurprising. It will swing back.

Allhumdillah And bless my ancestors for moving and sacrificing their wealth for Pakistan

Sititng in canada you will build ram mandir, recommend how India should move etc. The typical NRI has no problems watching India burn from the confines of comfortable Canadian apartment

idc what an anti-nationalist like you thinks. Ram Mandir will be built, it is the wish of all Dharmic people to see its construction.

Allhumdillah And bless my ancestors for moving and sacrificing their wealth for Pakistan

We are glad you move also.

Daaaah................ I am saying india is a very fertile land for extremism.

And if hindus owned that place they should have opted legal course in the first place but what they did was all extremism and it ended with electing an extremist to be PM of india.

I greatly appreciate certain teachings of Islam.
Such as how they expand without mercy where they have power. We Hindus need to learn from our neighbours on how minorities MUST be treated.
There is no point in beating around the bush.

This is not a battle between left and right anymore. This is a battle for the soul of India and what it means to be Indian. Any Indian Muslim reading these threads will feel more like a refugee rather than an Indian. Your countrymen have a deep seated hatred (and there is no better word to use i'm afraid) for India's Muslims. That is 200 million people. This is not about left and Right anymore. I see the same rumblings of religious communalism that led to the partition of 1947. Dont underestimate the power of civilizational or religious revival to crush anything that stands in its way.

The modern republic is not a place for fantasy revenge of past hurts. Hindus were weak, divided, caste ridden for most of the last 2500 years and that is just a fact. 'Strengthening' Hinduism is not gonna happen by building a temple over destroyed Babri Masjid, it is by improving the lot of millions of dalits who are still oppressed- something the right wing does not want. You ain't gonna do anything- state is going back to Mayawati/ Yadavs that is clear.

Swamy approached SC last year over this and today they heard it, i don't know how you connected this with yogi?

oh shut it. No one has a 'deep seated' hatred for muslims. They want something to rally behind and this is the shiny thing the BJP is dangling. Fact- 2 nation theory was weird BS. Fact- you're trying to justify it using a right wing surge in india, that still doesn't change the fact that 2 nation theory was BS.

The SC has no doubt taken cognisance of the fact that Yogi is now UP CM and the time is ripe for a "settlement".
