Raising $1,000,000 For EzBike Ft. Mohammad Hadi

Why would anyone buy this?

We need electricity to power this. Power customer means it won't work. Plus pakistan is family orientated and this bike won't work

.
What is the mileage, top speed and battery chemistry? 🤔
The specifications of the scooter haven't been revealed yet. I believe ezBike will start selling their electric scooter either this year or in Q1 or Q2 of next year. Their scooters can be seen on the roads of Islamabad.

No sane person would prefer traditional motorcycles over this considering the purchasing and operating costs of the traditional motorcycles when compared to this. Blackouts in cities in Islamabad and Lahore can't hamper the demand for such vehicles as long as there will be enough battery swapping points throughout the city. Charging a battery takes a lot of time but swapping it only takes 2 minutes.

India is also in the middle of somewhat of an e-scooter revolution. Ola was a big name, but their bike has been negatively reviewed in market. Some smaller names have however been better reviewed. I'm not sure if this trend is a fad or a sustainable development. At the least, a move to e-scooters will make roads less polluted :agree:

People need to start putting up solar panels. As per information posted here, Pakistan has rolled back solar panel subsidy for residential segment early this year. May be your government will bring it back later on when e-scooters generate enough load on the system.

Electricity in general is way cheaper than fuel in Pakistan it will continue to be that way in future which makes these electric scooters a viable option for the people. If you analyze what the big oil players are doing right now you will come to understand that their entire focus right now is making profits in the present, Wendover Productions explains this excellently in this video below.

The top speed is actually 60 km/h according to the podcast but I don't know about the range. Where did you get this information from?
i search on ali baba and there range is between 50-120km so i guess it must be 100km

.
Do you get Chinese e-bikes in Pakistan? How do they compare to this new start up?

Different electric scooters have different specifications, let's wait for ezBike to reveal the specification for their scooter.

I don't think they are currently selling any in Pakistan but according to the former assistant to the prime minister on CPEC affairs, Khalid Mansoor a Chinese company is very interested in building a manufacturing plant for their electric bikes in the SEZ of Faislabad called Allama Iqbal Industrial City.

The Chinese do not have market access to many countries because of trade protectionism in the west. Pakistan can offer the Chinese something that they do not have by signing FTAs with countries in developed world. Then it will be attractive for Chinese to move industrial manufacturing to Pakistan

That's not the only benefit for China by moving its industries to Pakistan. Pakistan's close proximity to the Middle East makes it a very attractive location for China to move its industries to as this will let help Chinese companies save billions of dollars in shipping costs; consequently, this will make Chinese goods much cheaper in the Middle Eastern markets.
