So? Is this the work that is more important or the abbreviated name that might get translated into a meaning that certain posters don't like? I am amazed that instead of discussing the aim and objective and implications of this particular forum, members are discussing the acronym of the full name and trying to find shortcomings in it. Wow, really wow!!!!

Whats so surprising? Some terms/names sound strange due to social norms and day to day usage of such terms . Ask the Pakistani diplomat who was requested to be changed by KSA just because his name meant something awkward in Arabic.

Can't blame anyone for laughing, this is really funny. A think tank that calls itself RANDI & some chap trying to help decides to called it RADI which as pointed out can be translated as waste/in garbage paper (maybe a reflection of what they will produce).

If sometimes ppl realize before opening their mouths, what impression their words will create perhaps they might grow some class. Though i am stïll sceptical.
