A cross-section of the project calls of the Boren Institute to be supported in 2020
Oğuz BAŞER Magique-Magnetic Technologies - Production and Development of Superior Boron-Based Permanent Magnets for Advanced Technology Applications
https://www.boren.gov.tr/Sayfa/desteklenmesine-karar-verilen-projeler-pc20191/135
Fields of activity of MAGİÇE - Magnetik Technology
MAGİÇE - Magnetic Technologies has realized the domestic production of permanent magnets and has commissioned the production facility with the aim of minimizing external dependence on these critical materials widely used in many fields. Permanent magnet production plant
· Nd-Fe-B
· Sm-Co
· AlNiCo
· YIG, Ni-Zn, Mn-Zn Ferrite
materials are designed and produced. Permanent magnet production facility enables to produce permanent magnets with high energy multiplier, different reversible temperature coefficients and different geometries. MAGİÇE - Magnetic Technologies designs and manufactures permanent magnets in accordance with the standards specific to the project and application area.
Magnetic Cooling
Magnetic cooling technology is based on magnetocaloric effect. Magnetocaloric effect is defined as the heating of a magnetic material when it enters the magnetic field and cooling when it exits the magnetic field. Magnetic cooling technology stands out with its important features such as high efficiency, silence, low maintenance costs, low pressure production and low size production compared to today's coolers.
Magnetic refrigeration technology is being studied / pursued by many research centers and universities around the world. MAGİÇE - Magnetic Technologies has developed 3 prototypes on this subject and presents their works at magnetic cooling conferences.
Thermoelectric Technology
Thermoelectric modules are n-type or p-type semiconductor material based structures and are used in the production of electrical energy from waste heat in thermoelectric generators or as heat pump in thermoelectric coolers. Thermoelectric modules do not contain any moving parts, they are maintenance free, quiet and long lasting.
Thermoelectric generators and thermoelectric coolers; defense industry applications, space and satellite technologies are widely used in industrial application fields. Today, especially in the electronic equipment used in military or consumer electronics, the increase in power consumption and the removal of heat generated by the reduction of the size of the devices creates problems. Thermoelectric technology is seen as an alternative solution.

Cooperation with the Defense Industry Presidency 2 April 2019
MAGİÇE-Magnetic Technologies is one of the 10 projects that the Defense Industry Presidency (SSB) has decided to support in 2018. The first of these projects is the “SEYYAH” project, in which ASELSAN and TÜBİTAK BİLGEM will develop advanced technologies for moving wave tube power amplifier systems for satellite / space, radar and electronic warfare systems owned by only a few developed countries in the world.
The second project that MAGİÇE contributes to is the IK MIKNATIS ”project, which will develop high-power magnet technology for the nationalization of cryogenic refrigerants in infrared detector sets.
The contracts of R & D projects started in 2018 were completed on 02/01/2019. Dr. İsmail Demir, Rector of Ankara University Dr. Prof. Dr. Erkan İBİŞ and one of the founders of MAGİÇE-Magnetic Technologies Dr. H. Yalçın ELERMAN and Oğuz BAŞER.
