Fields of activity of MAGİÇE - Magnetik Technology

MAGİÇE - Magnetic Technologies has realized the domestic production of permanent magnets and has commissioned the production facility with the aim of minimizing external dependence on these critical materials widely used in many fields. Permanent magnet production plant

· Nd-Fe-B

· Sm-Co

· AlNiCo

· YIG, Ni-Zn, Mn-Zn Ferrite

materials are designed and produced. Permanent magnet production facility enables to produce permanent magnets with high energy multiplier, different reversible temperature coefficients and different geometries. MAGİÇE - Magnetic Technologies designs and manufactures permanent magnets in accordance with the standards specific to the project and application area.

Magnetic Cooling

Magnetic cooling technology is based on magnetocaloric effect. Magnetocaloric effect is defined as the heating of a magnetic material when it enters the magnetic field and cooling when it exits the magnetic field. Magnetic cooling technology stands out with its important features such as high efficiency, silence, low maintenance costs, low pressure production and low size production compared to today's coolers.

Magnetic refrigeration technology is being studied / pursued by many research centers and universities around the world. MAGİÇE - Magnetic Technologies has developed 3 prototypes on this subject and presents their works at magnetic cooling conferences.

Thermoelectric Technology

Thermoelectric modules are n-type or p-type semiconductor material based structures and are used in the production of electrical energy from waste heat in thermoelectric generators or as heat pump in thermoelectric coolers. Thermoelectric modules do not contain any moving parts, they are maintenance free, quiet and long lasting.

Thermoelectric generators and thermoelectric coolers; defense industry applications, space and satellite technologies are widely used in industrial application fields. Today, especially in the electronic equipment used in military or consumer electronics, the increase in power consumption and the removal of heat generated by the reduction of the size of the devices creates problems. Thermoelectric technology is seen as an alternative solution.

Cooperation with the Defense Industry Presidency 2 April 2019

MAGİÇE-Magnetic Technologies is one of the 10 projects that the Defense Industry Presidency (SSB) has decided to support in 2018. The first of these projects is the “SEYYAH” project, in which ASELSAN and TÜBİTAK BİLGEM will develop advanced technologies for moving wave tube power amplifier systems for satellite / space, radar and electronic warfare systems owned by only a few developed countries in the world.

The second project that MAGİÇE contributes to is the IK MIKNATIS ”project, which will develop high-power magnet technology for the nationalization of cryogenic refrigerants in infrared detector sets.
The contracts of R & D projects started in 2018 were completed on 02/01/2019. Dr. İsmail Demir, Rector of Ankara University Dr. Prof. Dr. Erkan İBİŞ and one of the founders of MAGİÇE-Magnetic Technologies Dr. H. Yalçın ELERMAN and Oğuz BAŞER.

Minister Dönmez tested hydrogen-fueled car

Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Fatih Dönmez, National Boron Research Institute (BOREN) and developed by TUBITAK MAM on hydrogen fuel automobile, "The vehicle itself is a hybrid. When we put hydrogen-fueled batteries in normal electric vehicles range will be extended. "It has an electric range of 300 kilometers. It is possible to extend this range to 150 kilometers with hydrogen fuel." said.

Minister Dönmez, the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources boron hydrogen production system working on the campus found in the electric car.

After reviewing the journalists in statements to the Minister Dönmez, the vehicle is used as a fuel hydrogen, fuel cell is converted to electricity by turning the electric motor to activate the electric told us.

Dönmez, TÜBİTAK MAM and BOREN developed together with the vehicle is currently produced 2 units and a new vehicle is continuing to work for the recording, "This is a technology similar to electric vehicles, but here you do not charge the vehicle. You get this source through hydrogen." he said.

Such technology in hydrogen economically and safely does not start pointing to the importance of achieving, "Turkey is from 8 to 10 years have the work done in our institute our universities and Boron. Today, our scientists, our ministry came together to create a road map for Turkey's hydrogen fuel. However, we have entrepreneurial companies that are doing research and development on this subject. used the phrase.

Quiet operation, zero emissions and fast acceleration

Dönmez stated that the developed vehicle is similar to electric cars with silent operation and zero emission value and it is twice as fast as internal combustion engines in terms of reaching 100 kilometers from zero.

Very little gear used in vehicles undercarriage and transfer organs due to the extremely low production will be more economical transferring Dönmez, "The vehicle itself is a hybrid in itself. When we put hydrogen-fueled batteries in normal electric vehicles range. Currently the vehicle made for trial, 300 kilometers of electricity It is possible to extend this range to 150 kilometers with hydrogen fuel. " he said.

Donmez, developed the vehicle's fuel cell is different from that of electric vehicles, "Think, you have planned a long trip. 300-400 kilometers will go, if you put a fuel that contains hydrogen, you're extending the range. We use boron as hydrogen scavenger." said.

This boron thing is strategic for Turkey because 76% of it is in Turkey plus it is important rare metal which can be used in rocket engines helicopters and other military applications
Who knows maybe boron in near future could be very important tool for blackmailing US ;)

TENMAK, 14 different rare earth elements in fly ash and bottom ash thermal power plants in Turkey, announced that it has been detected.
According to the studies, it is said that in our country there is an average of 130 ppm NTE content in coal waste and ashes. In this case, if the wastes are used for NTE production, the annual amount of NTE that can be recovered is calculated as approximately 3000 tons. Thus, TENMAK pointed out that investments on the subject will be started.
