People need to understand, including the anchors, that 50 years of failures and wrong policies can be fixed in months or years, sometime it takes decades to fix things.
The polices changes and reforms current government is trying to bring will benefit customers in long run. Public won’t see the real benefit until 2021 or 2022.
Current government need to put together clear well define 30 years of economic plan to be economic independent by creating sustainable economy.
Digitalization plan already starter and IA it prepare banking sectors for secure e-commerce, e-payment, e-government and many other areas. It will bring many jobs in IT and technology, machine learning, robotics and AI.
That is a good question. Previous governments were too dumb and enslaved to even recognize that the British system is problematic. The current government has too much on its plate I think, but it is also definitely a political thing. By erasing every British symbol and trace you will be sending a tough message to Britain. After Brexit the Pak government would like to have some sort of a trade deal with the British government. You could jeopardize that by abolishing British system in Pak.
All of it is a topi drama.... Other then Imran Khan, no politician want to see economically independent Pakistan.
Also, for some strange reason we want to hold down to 4 huge Provinces even though there is no benefit of having provincial government and paying heavy salaries, perks and privileges to MPAs. I’ve heard pretty lame excuses about keeping provinces. Some say we need it for culture, others say some other strange stuff.
After reading about Japanese government structure, I think we can go with Districts/Cities government system.
