QUETTA: Unidentified armed men on Thursday looted around Rs 60 million from a Qatari minister in Balochistan province, DawnNews reported.

According to levies sources, Qatar’s petroleum minister Sheikh Ali bin Abdullah Thani Al-Thani was on a hunting trip in Turbat when the armed miscreants stopped his car and got away with the loot.

Sheikh Ali is a member of the supreme council of the royal family of Qatar.

The assistant commissioner of Turbat had initiated an investigating into the incident and no arrests had been reported yet.

According to an earlier Dawn report from last year, at least 25 special permits had been issued to dignitaries belonging to the Arabian peninsula allowing them to hunt the internationally protected houbara bustard.

The dignitaries were allotted several different locations in Pakistan. Sheikh Ali was allotted the Turbat district in Balochistan.

This is strange how one can sell permits to foreigners to hunt across nation .. wild life is valuable property for country and one the main pillar of ecology ...
Can Pakistani buy hunting permit for same or it is only for royals fro Arab countries?

60 millions???? Do they fund extreme animals as well to do hunting on their behalf?

What's more interesting is that how Indians can dig up such news....and come up with such maps.

Why do you take Rs 60 million to go hunting?

Bigger question is, these Royals don't roam in their country without bodyguards, why they were without protection in some other country in unknown and dangerous area with loads of money ...

I have couple of super computers digging entire internet for any negative news for Pakistan then one main frame which will read all data collected by super computers to analyse and post worst of them on defence.pk..

another answer if you like to accept is news was on front page on dozen news papers even on presstv.or

Google

sometimes stop looking at what we Indians are doing see what is happening in your country

^ Why is think news?

Pakistan is getting robbed of its natural species by these people. Pretty soon we'll have to add the Habarato the extinct list in Pakistan because of their disability to be "excited" by their wives.

Now did the hunter become the hunted?
And what was this gentleman doing carrying 60 million rupees with him on a trip to a remote and troubled area? That needs asking.
And lastly is Pakistan going to witness the extinction of its wild-life?

First of all, what was he doing in an area that can be considered dangerous esp for foreigners to go alone/ with out any security.

Its like I pass thru a dark alley in Detroit, MI hoping my trip would be nice filled with joy.

I think the guy should be grateful they didn't kill him....whats with carrying Rs 60 mill??

Someone once said, riches is directly proportional to dumb. (It seems like a correct relation in most cases)

Looks like a inside job someone must have known he was carrying cash on him

I guess the same thing too cuz there is no other purpose for carrying huge amount of money in that dangerous part....:smokin:
