Madrassazzz are running 24/7 even in shifts...tum kitnay wari maro gey har ghar se qari nikley gha...when our 80 population thinks if his her son become qari jinnat mien plot confirm what u can do. Non but we must change hifz e quran madrassa to regular school by regular teachers.

I memorize many soraas but never went to madrassaz.

In response to the discussion about madrasas and their alleged role in fueling terrorism in Pakistan, I would say that Islamic education is one of the best ways that the problem of terrorism can be tackled. If Pakistan reforms existing madrasahs to rid them of extremist interpretations (possibly funded by external factors) and introduces true Sunni Islamic teachings, the next generation would be steered away from radicalisation.
However, it must be noted that madrasas are obviously not the only factor contributing to terrorism; poverty also plays its significant role as it forces people to commit acts of terror to feed their families. On a side note, corruption also stems from poverty. For these reasons, I think tackling poverty is a greater priority than "fixing" the Islamic education system of Pakistan, although the latter closely follows in necessity.

Madrassas can be regulated and proper teaching staff and equipment could be provided. Banning religious school is not the solution but will further escalate the already poor situation in society. Want to make another army of terrorists by not teaching them the true meaning of Islam?

Dear son Rehman Malik is not our rolemodel our rolemodel should be Rasool Allah pbuh, ilama iqbal, qaid and in moderen times ataturk or musharaf / tayeb urdghan.

Not true because India has 800 million who are all pretty much in poverty yet there is no terrorism. Explain this to me?

Poverty has nothing to do with it.

Madrassahs need to be heavily regulated to conform to a certain standard. Only because they are soft targets for foreign agencies to manipulate.

All Pakistan needs to do is go back to pre 1972 ideology.
