Qadri Inqilab March | Updates and Debate

TUQ‬ is the main bigger threat to the government as always. Government must take care of him. As far as ‪PTI‬ is concerned, government should invite ‪‎Imran Khan‬ every month to organize such a "Music Mela" for bored Islamabad citizen.

LAHORE: Justice Amir Mahmood of Lahore High Court on Monday rejected a Rs700 million tax notice issued to Minhajul Quran Secretariat by the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).

Earlier, FBR in its investigations had ascertained that Qadri and Minhajul Quran held at least eight bank accounts which had some 700 million rupees flowing in from different sources.

Qadri and Minhajul Quran had been sent three notices in this regard but neither the PAT chief nor his institution had responded to those.

On August 7, the FBR had again issued a notice to Qadri and Minhajul Quran, saying they have to pay tax under the income tax ordinance.

Following the notice for tax payment by FBR, Minhajul Quran lawyer Ali Zafar filed a petition in High Court claiming that the institute is a nonprofit organisation and hence it is not required to pay taxes.

Subsequently, LHC ordered the rejected the tax notice sent by FBR.

The court also directed the FBR not to issue any further requests to the secretariat regarding tax payment.

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Dr Tahirul Qadri announced the expansion of the Inqilab march in the form of multiple protests across the country.

“Whether Sunni or Shia, Deobandi or Barelvi, religious minded or secular, from any location or ethnicity…from this evening onward, all groups will start protesting.”

The PAT chief claimed that raids had been conducted at the homes of Majlis-i-Wahdat-i-Muslimeen (MWM) workers because the group had announced on Sunday that they would take out protests in support of Qadri. MWM Sindh chapter general secretary Allama Mukhtar Imami had announced that the MWM would stage sit-ins from Monday on the main thoroughfares and highways in support of ‘Inquilab march’ of the PAT.

A round of praise
Qadri also took time out to praise the PTI on their "revolution", claiming the PAT and the PTI movements were working towards the same end goal.

"I say Zindabad to the PTI workers...they are our brothers. I congratulate Imran on announcing a two-day deadline" he said.

Tahirul Qadri also applauded his supporters’ commitment to the cause.

“Everyone has praised the discipline and resolve of the Inqilab march,” he said.

Criticism aplenty
The PAT chief proceeded to lambast the government over alleged corruption, failures and conspiracies against the PAT. His highly charged diatribe was interrupted occasionally by chants of “Go Nawaz go!”.

He also criticized the Sindh government for its inefficiencies in addressing the needs of the people, particularly minorities. He called on "all Sindhis and Baloch" to join the movement, outlining how their "rulers have failed them".

Qadri alleged that the government had informed him of threats to his life from several different terrorist groups, yet had “jammed” his car, making it impossible to enter.

He explained to the "Western democratic world," that people were out on the streets due to "a complete lack of justice".

Times up so what will he do now. Will all the women over there bring out guns and start shooting the place? :P :P

Tomorrow at 5PM we must gather together and we will stand here and start a peoples parliament.

.
WTF was that by Qadri?

Pathetic.

This is the difference b/w Qadri and IK.

IK is at least taking things by the scruff of the neck, and now Qadri is depending on IK to march forward.

Awaam ki parliament wtf?

The federal gov't should stay away from this. Any interference from the federal gov't is what what both PAT and PTI is waiting for, so they can fuel this to further their causes. Right now, they are losing the edge and desperate for new measures, Allahu Alim

@Peaceful Civilian

What is that white covering on the top of crowds in that picture you have posted above?
