1) This pertains to the military academy at Abbottabad. Someone who lived in the area wrote an article claiming the military personnel rare went out into the city. True?

2) A bit of clarification on the extent the Pakistani military was involved in the operation. I would assume that the US at least got a hold of someone in Pakistan to tell them to stand down during the raid.

The cadets at the academy do not go out often unless on training basis or on rec. Contrary to popular belief, it is not a base, only a training academy. There are probably not more than 300 G-3s in the entire academy.

2) A bit of clarification on the extent the Pakistani military was involved in the operation. I would assume that the US at least got a hold of someone in Pakistan to tell them to stand down during the raid.

Pakistan Army was had set up a parameter around the area within 15 minutes of the attack having taken place, there was confusion on whether this was one of our ops because no one expected the Americans to venture this deep into Pakistani territory. Plus, the first to respond were officers and MP from PMA who were armed only with their assault rifles, some did not even get their bullet proof jackets, it was really, that quick paced.

I'm not much for conspiracy theories so I doubt I can ever satisfy your question, but here I go anyway. What exactly do you mean by the "American Version" ? If you think that he wasn't there and America hoodwinked us then try explaining the presence of his 3 wives and dozen children in the compound, I doubt the Americans had the time to air-drop them into abbotabad before conducting the raid.

What about the detection of Helicopters ? even after the going down of one helicopter, they need atlease 45 mins to escape., Hell of the time for jets to respond?? or they are told to pull of?

CIA was operating a safe house in abbotabad. why our ISI didn't know about it?

I'm not much for conspiracy theories so I doubt I can ever satisfy your question, but here I go anyway. What exactly do you mean by the "American Version" ? The helicopters were not your regular helis. They are some new stealth choppers. I saw pictures of the one that crashed. It has rounded and abruptly ending surfaces. They are also coated with some radar absorbent material. As for why the jets were not called, like I said, there was a lot of confusion about what was going on, there were calls going to the MoD, GHQ, Corp HQ, Div HQ. Nobody expected this to be an American raid. It was thought that it was either a case of terrorism or maybe an encounter. The helis were not hovering over the compound, they had increased their altitude to avoid detection by eye.

So you are saying that it took 45 mins to identify who is doing this. It too much time.?
and what about CIA safehouse in Abottabad ? why it can't be identified earlier? they were watching OSL for at least 1 year.

Unfortunately, yes. We were taken by surprise and it was an immense failure that we regret. As for the safe house, this compound had already been flagged by the ISI back in 2009 because of the presence of the Al-Qaeda operatives dubbed the "Kuwaitis" however, CIA declared it a low priority target and it was placed in some drawer. As for the safe house, it wasn't some haunt for CIA agents to chill out in. It was probably just some locals nearby who were being paid to keep a couple of cameras in their balcony and windows, catch who goes in and comes out, hand the pictures over to some ground operative or just mail them to a third address under the heading "Cousin Shamim going home" nobody would suspect a thing. It's very hard to pick-up small cells like this.

It hurts me to say this but yes he was there and he was killed as per the account of his wives and one of his daughters who happened to be in the same room as Osama when he was killed. As to why the U.S is not releasing evidence of his death, I can only imagine but I think it may have to do with the fact that showing his picture to the world could be made an excuse by militant groups for inciting hatred by saying that they are advertising his death or maybe his face has been disfigured during the firefight and the picture might not be suitable to be displayed on the news channels. Your guess is as good as mine........
