Put Kashmir on backburner, built trust

The weird part of this thread so is all the statements made by the Indians why they think Imran Khan should not or cannot be the PM.

NEWS FLASH FOR INDIANS:

YOU DON'T GET TO VOTE, INDIANS.

It is not your choice, it is upto Pakistani people to decide who their next PM or PREZ will be.

I am once again sorry, but he is in politics for more then 10 years, how many seats he has won till now, Save my word, he will never be PM, Pakistan want someone who can talk about taking Kashmir by Force, rest all problem of Corruption and other things, nobody give a damn $hit in Pakistan. This is my view, please don't reply.

Nothing, before completing his term, he will be in UK applying for asylum, after all you have Good Taliban to rule you.

I saw the interview of IK and I liked it.

But If I could, I would whole heartedly vote for IK.. He comes across as an honest person.. And really, even if he is all talk, how much worse off can he be from existing lot...?? So my support (since I cant vote ) goes to Imran Khan... \o/

I agree not only honest, more practical and one big thing I like in him is to have control.

Imran Khan is absolutely correct. Sweeping things under the rug is not the answer. Deal with the big issues upfront in their order of priority:

1. Kashmir Issue
2. Water Issues
3. Bilateral Trade ( without trade deficit on either side )
4. People to people contacts
5. Etc

well, you misunderstood his entire speek. He put the Kishmir issue to the back burner to develop trust first.

IK's ideas are what India has been expressing in the last 30 years of dialogs. Keep the Kashmir as the last issue, resolve all other issues such as mistrust, people to people relationship and keep the army option as the least.

for expressing Army Operations are futile in the Kahmir issue, he is going to become the PA's next big target. He is already earming bad name in the army circles.
if the Army supports him, then IK rocks, else he might end up getting deported by the next Army general who might overthrow the civilian government, I wish my Pakistani brothers all the success on self governance and India - Pakistan relations.

There is no "issue" to be put on backburner. If Pakistan is willing to move ahead of this, we're ready. Or else forget it.

I think I prefer Zardari in Islamabad much better. He's done more of our job in the last 5 years than what we could do in last 5 wars with Pakistan. :D. Bless the man from India's behalf.

Well... If he`s right on his words then..... GO IMRAN KHAN GO

.
He comes across a person who will change his words to suit his audience.

Remember his Kashmir rhetoric in Lahore..now in India he wants to put it in backburner..

Doubt he'd come into power. He's yet to do anything serious for the country and despite his clean record, there is a large section of Pakistani society that isn't too happy about him taking power. The problem is choice of people cannot be reflected in Pakistan much because of current situation. But let's see; I can't help but smirk when I imagine him and the Singham (NaMo) in a meet. :D

.
Don't see what the big deal is here. Let the Kashmiris decide for Kashmir. No outside help is needed, we've already lost tens of thousands of our people; let us deal with our state as we wish..it's us that live here.
