Mashallah its crystal clear that Punjab Government have outclassed PPP thugs and Phany khan government in KPK. :yahoo: :victory:

Excelent step for Education & certainly the best one so far. Also everything looking good on paper, but I am expecting something like more industries, more IT hubs, more technology centers, more skyscrappers, some more artifacts/symbols and more money for energy. Since this is what will generate more revenue, and will get our future more brighter.

Free money and stuff should be removed right away, if you don't want to fight then you are a looser, and no body can help you.

Great Budget. So happy to see new industrial estates in deprived areas

This is a Good day For Pakistan . . . We are Finally Focusing on the Core Issue of Education .. Sind + Punjab + KPK have allocated around 400 bliion for Education in one year .. a Figure that never exceeded 40 billion in past .. .

Lets Hope everyone sticks to what they said ..

What you are looking at is 400 billion that include salary, administrative etc etc etc ( all type of development and non development funds in it ) just for example out of 66 bil KPK Education budget 56 bil is just salary ( Punjab and Sindh are same ). Its not that impressive trust me

yeah, I mean even PPP is looking forward to work..... imagine !!

Did Punjab government paid to contractors who build previous danish schools? 3-4 months back, they were publishing as in Jung newspaper that Punjab government hasn't paid their bills yet?

And I do hope, more money is spend on south Punjab this time instead of central punjab

What I really like is that SS has allocated an impressive amount for social services and especially for women development. Plus his plan for solar powered tube-wells will also ensure cropping on time and hence more agricultural productivity. Punjab's distinction is agriculture and I would expect him to declare agricultural cities just like industrial estates and establishing the storage of agricultural and livestock produce. It can earn us handsome amount of precious foreign exchange. :)

Thats a small budget to a state like punjab ..put heavy indirect tax and service tax to ballance effect of tax evasion

Rs 126.7 billion tax target is a historic decision by the PML-N led Shahbaz Sharif government which would serve as an important milestone in the journey towards provincial autonomy besides raising the resources for the development works in the province.

He said that the public welfare projects were not possible without increase in the provincial receipts, adding that the Shahbaz Sharif government had introduced Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA) and decided to collect sales tax on the services during the current fiscal year and these steps bore fruit.

Punjab govt presents Rs 871.95 bln budget

Provision of missing facilities in Schools, Equipping Schools with IT Labs & Science Laboratories, Free Text Books, Scholarships to encourage students are some of the top priorities set under CM’s Education Sector Reform Program. 7 new universities will be established at Rakh Dera Chahil which will be termed as “Knowledge City”.

Medical & Commerce Colleges will be established. Private schools charging more than Rs. 5000/month will have to enroll 10% students from less-privileged class on merit and a law will be passed from Punjab Assembly in this regard.

Punjab Education Foundation, Punjab Education Endowment Fund, Daanish Schools, Solar Home Systems and Laptops project will also continue. Sub-Campus of Lahore College for Women University at Kala Shah Kaku and Technology University of International standards at Sialkot is also proposed in the Budget

Thanks to PTI..now everyone is looking to work.

Imran Khan is the best thing that happened to Pakistan after its independence in 1947!

Now make sure that all these things stated in budgets are done without any corruption...

Pakistani Punjab was the richest region in entire subcontinent at the time of partition...and now, thanks to dictators, family-mafias, and slave punjabis...our side of Punjab is even behind than Indian Punjab (which is 3 times smaller in area and has 4 times less resources (agricultural land etc))
