Public caught assaulter of Hindu college teacher

As I said to another poster: Stop getting prolapse due to what I or anyone post. It was Abd al-Aziz ibn Baz ,grand mufti of Saudi Arabia (highest religious authority for Sunni muslims), who gave a fatwah that Earth is flat and declared that anyone who does not believe so is an apostate to Islam.

That fatwah still stands. Take it up with his predecessors.

I need evidence to believe your statement, not opinions.

BNP: Fahim's killing to hide 'real incident'
Mohammad Al-Masum Molla

The death of suspected Hizb ut-Tahrir militant Golam Faizullah Fahim in a “gunfight with police” is a government ploy to hide the truth, the BNP claims.

“The government has killed him in a crossfire, which means, it is trying to hide something,” party's Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi said on Saturday.

Fahim was allegedly involved in the life attempt on a Hindu college teacher in Madaripur. Police claimed the 18-year-old was killed in a gunfight earlier in the day.

“By interrogating him, police could have garnered information on the militant network and others involved in the attack,” Rizvi said.

Locals caught Fahim when he was reportedly fleeing after a machete attack on Government Nazimuddin College teacher Ripan Chakrabarty at his home in the town on June 15.

On Friday, a court allowed police 10 days to interrogate him in custody.

Members of minority communities have come under frequent attacks in recent months, leaving a number of them dead. Although international terrorist groups reportedly claimed responsibilities, the government has insisted that they were works of homegrown radicals.

The ruling Awami League and the BNP have been trading charges over these incidents.

Rizvi alleged that the government did not intend to curb militancy.

“I think the only goal of the [recent] anti-militancy drive was to repress BNP. More than 2,700 BNP leaders and activists were arrested during this drive,” he claimed.
