It was Zardari and Shareef who stacked PTV with unneeded and unqualified political appointments, and burdened it with salaries and pension for years to come. So ultimately, the responsibility of its losses and the supposed burden on the public through utility bill falls on the two previous governments.

You're right, we shouldn't blame everything on previous governments. But we should blame them for the things they did wrong. And this is one of them.

I doubt IK ever said that he will make Pakistan richer than the US in 2 years. That is a ridiculous thing to say or believe. Even if he did, no person in his right mind would take it as anything but rhetoric.

As for the previous government taking the country toward G20 membership, that is the same as saying that Lahore will become Paris - empty, meaningless words meant to excite gullible people.

Sharif left the country on the brink of default. If you refuse to believe all the economic indicators that pointed towards that fact, you should at least believe Sharif's closest lieutenants who insisted that Asad Umar take a loan from the IMF without delay.

DISCOS need to be fixed, PTI havent done that.

Railways/PIA alone responsible for Rs100b loss.

Ideally over all SOE's should be making Rs400-500b in profit every year. Its other way around and this cannot continue. Remember all this profit will go directly to federal govt without having to share with provinces.

Here is latest DISCO's situation. Looks like things have improved since 2018-19. Rs170b loss vs Rs82b in 2020-21.

Overall I believe SOE's will report break even for 2020-21 as many are reporting profit now or reducing losses, report should release by March.
