While PTV cameramen, when covering events like the Pakistan Day Parade, never fail to disappoint us with their inability to capture the occasion with some decent substance specially when covering the flypast and aerial displays. This is all the more frustrating since they have plenty of time to prepare and are well aware of the entry and exit point of the participating aircraft formations, still the cameras are placed at silly angles, never taking the back light into account and more focused on the VIP stand. Last year for the full dress rehearsal, a friend captured the Flypast and the air display with a hand held camera and I'm sure you will agree that he did much better job than the so called PTV professional cameramen. Enjoy the spectacle and watch out for the lead F-16 run in.
