.
I don't have any contact in ISPR; but could you please provide me the names and IDs of those 18 killed by Army?

This is the list prepared by the local Army unit deployed at Kharqamar. I have misplaced the picture of other document which had more names. But here are 13. Anything else?

You can't let snakes fester

Most of the azz pain has been in Afghanistan

Let's see if we can keep this dude in prison for life
Knowing our courts he will be out in two weeks

You're advocating for them in this very thread. They've got their people in parliament; if they can't table a simple resolution to get the army to relinquish posts to FC/Police or whatever PTM has in mind for policing, they're doing a piss poor job as elected representatives and mostly taking these innocent local people on a ride.
PPP and PMLN both opposed army chief extension before the time came. PMLN was for months implying that the army chief selected Imran Khan and helped rig the elections. They can’t say it openly or they’ll face the boot, literally and figuratively.

PTI government until November managed to pass a meagre 10 bills in NA, that too not controversial bills, bills easily passed in which opposition and government had similar views.

Then as if by an act of miracle, this government that has very little legislative pedigree passed army chief’s extension within a month of the issue being raised. With stunning speed. And that too unanimously!! Including no opposition from those parties who surely should have opposed it.

If miracles like that can be made to happen, what little can two PTM MNAs do, when some 130+ MNAs in opposition parties couldn’t do anything?

Not even trying to drum up support for your cause on the largest forum available in the country is piss poor management. I'll be on their side when they come in the parliament to table a resolution against ousting the army. Doesn't matter if it gets rejected. At least get the debates running and get the media houses to make a mountain out of a molehill. Free press. These guys don't even know simple politics.

Plus PPP and PMLN are just opportunists. They were looking for a lollypop from the establishment which they probably got. Going into direct confrontation is a non starter.

Please try to follow along. Also, for the part in bold. There is a media blackout on PTM. They are not allowed to show their rallies on tv and journalists who talk about them are threatened. And here you’re talking about free press? Let’s see if they’re allowed to stand up straight before we expect them to be able to walk or even run.

Thanks for sharing ... so Army provided you the detailed document - thank ALLAH SWT that from 18 it reduced to 13. But why you were unable to get the document related to Army’s dead and injured?
IMO, if you strive a bit more, you could get that also.

That's what I have been trying to tell you, there were NO casualties on Army's side. If there were, ISPR would have shared the names of soldiers in a press release.

They're allowed everything right upto the mark where they go berserk and start spewing anti-state venom. Fight for your rights sure, just don't be a dildo to Afg/India is all what we're asking.

OK ... I believe you that no Army person killed/injured but it does not warrant ex TTP thugs to storm the check post.
Why they want to remove the check post? Just simply answer it and I will close the discussion from my side.

If protesting extrajudicial kidnappings makes you anti-Pakistan or a bad actor, then we need a reassessment of our character. Right now even this space is being denied.

It's a fine line between here and there. No ones denying the absurd amount of pain these people have gone through, here you're talking about pashtuns. I've seen a case in my immediate vicinity (punjabis), people I know. Lad got picked up by the agencies, parents died without ever knowing where their kid are; sad state of affairs. It all ends up being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

I may have my own issues with how things go on in the country, but to become a weaponized carrier of foreign sponsored anti-state propaganda is right up there on my list of nuke from orbit.

Everything is not as you mentioned, just look at the history of the area the breeding ground of TTP thugs, what they were involved previously:
  • Kidnapping for ransom
  • Illegal weapon trade
  • Hitmen
  • Drug trafficking
  • Car Lifting
  • Asylum to criminals/absconders against money.
So now they irritated to check against such savage activities.

The incident has two different stories. And do not disrespect the dead by calling them ex-TTP.

These were innocent civilians, only exercising their constitution right of assembly.

The KPK Government even announced compensation for the deceased and injured. So, they were terrorists and attacked a check-post, why compensate the families?

A few KP ministers even went and apologised to the families.
