I will say this to everyone over and over until the day I die:

Everyone should remember that it was Nawaz Sharif who took away any and all powers away from the President so that the President can't stop Sharif from corruption like his first term. And then Nawaz tried to become a dictator.

I think you are thinking of something different. Before Nawaz's second term, the President had the power to dissolve parliament and force an election (based on the corruption and what not). When Nawaz had 2/3 majority in his second term, he changed the constitution to prevent the president from doing that. He then tried to become a dictator, but was thrown out by Musharaf.

I see. Although I would prefer more power in a smaller executive.
