What's new

PTI’s Arif Avi elected 13th president of Pakistan

.
in total Alvi secured 353 votes

Aitzaz Ahsan 194
Diesel 185

So even a combine opposition leader would had secured 309 votes against PTI Alvi's 353...
Forward block in PMLN voted for PTI candidate lol ....Diesel was supposed to secure atleast 199 votes. News is, PPP votes also gone into PTI bucket. PTI got 20+ extra votes.

btw by elections will be contested on Alvi's NA seat in Khi....PTI has vacated 2 NA seats from Khi...victory confidence in by elections or over confidence ?
Sorry mate
185 + 194 = 379 so check your figures again.

Congratulations!!! :)
Mate, what I told you :-)
I was sure even if the opposition was united and reason is that if IK could get Buzdar get elected as CM of Punjab, it would be a piece of cake to get Arif Alvi has the president.
However, shame on PMLn and others for supporting Fuzla who barked against Pakistan just recently... He will go to the jail for an attempted murder. Zardari should start get good massage because the jail is waiting for him...

Yup that's the right figure
124 + 185 = 309 vs 353
so the opposition had no chance whatsoever.

This would had been a draw is the opposition had joined hands. Why were PTI votes 212 equal to the combine votes of opposition? Did few not voted for Arif Alvi?
Check above

Shareef un Nafs aadmi hai ye Alvi.

Allah isteqamat de

Congrats to everyone who wanted him to be alaamti nishani of sarzameen e Pak

2 votes did not cast. 6 Parliament votes rejected.

There must be disciplinary action for this i am pretty sure

Rejection is based upon incorrect procedure or in easy words; mistaken & wrongly stamping. The 2 missing votes will have to justify and present plausible explanation for their absence.

So these elected individuals cannot Vote properly. How hard can it be?

I am going to comb the constitution for this. This is embarrassing to say the least

What is wrong with some people :o:

Speaks volume of seriousness by these pro-claimed elected members about Pakistan that takes their politics rivalry above National Interest and patriotism. Unfortunately, people do not reject them in plain that couldn't oppose a person who openly rejected to celebrate Pakistan Independence Day and condemned Parliament but still; contested election. There is no shame or dignity for these people as they will stoop to any level for their own personal gains.

Fazal-ur-Rehman has been on top because of many reasons as such as firstly being rejected by people in Election, his son lost Deputy Speaker seat and then Fazal himself lost yet another attempt to have Government privileges. PMLN shows its true colours by supporting Fazal as such. In my opinion, at-least, Siraj-ul-Haq would have gathered more support if not in vote but morally on top. PMLN, Fazal-ur-Rehman etc are now to be called "from publicly rejected to morally corrupt" lot. Hope that people will see all this beyond personal affiliation and try to break delusion as such. This lot does not deserve a little bit of public representation at all.

Yes, that is the case as it appears to be despite training sessions being done.
