PTI workers thrash PML-N MPA Farzana Butt in NA-122 polling station

LAHORE (Ihsan Qadir) – The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) workers thrashed PML-N MPA Farzana Butt in NA-122 polling station established in Basti Syedan Shah, Shadman area of Lahore on sunday.

The highly-charged workers of PTI and PML-N clashed in Shadman and threw chairs at each other.


They also chanted slogans against each other. In the scuffle, PTI workers thrashed PML-N MPA Farzana Butt who was present there.

Talking to the media, Farzana Butt said, “PTI workers misbehaved with me and used abusive language against me and my party leadership. They threw chairs at me.”


Following the incident, a heavy contignt of police and Rangers reached the situation and calmed the situation.

Sad that something bad happen with her but really men throwing chairs at a woman? i think she's pretty exaggerating the situation, she would've been likely caught in a brawl between PML-N and PTI workers and besides PML-N ministers love to play innocent when all the govt. machinery is being used for them instead of it being used against them. The police is totally under the control of Shehbaz sharif.

At every occasion PML workers use to get out and beat PTI workers, it is only now that PTI workers have started to react. PML should stop using Gullu Butts and Punjab police for Badmashi and Ghundagardai. Otherwise others will follow suit and than PML wont be able to run.

Oh please! Nothing is being cited here as a justification for assaulting a women. For starters Muslim League N are known for blowing things out of proportion to gain sympathy. Today was election day and its no surprise that their women claims this when they are the ones who regularly thrash and beat others. Moreover they are ones in power, the whole state machinery is with them including the punjab police. I doubt if anyone can even lay hands on them yet alone beating and thrashing.

Honestly speaking indians shouldnt even say a word...like we ignored you people when your voting was going on kindly give us room you dont need to appear in every thread solely concerning Pakistan! It is getting irritating that we are already at the edge of our seat last thing we need is an indian trying to play referee and cherry picking our words


Whatever happened was bad! But I have a few questions: How does one know who is PTI worker and who is wearing PTI clothes? Why does one associate an individuals BS to the party? Are the people robots that the party has to answer to each of their sneezes?

Lastly , I hope it is investigated or at least the "workers" caught and punished!!
