PTI Tsunami Quetta, Balochistan 20 April 2012

.
btw i found quetta awaam most illeterate i mean they were cheering for every moment which was not meant to cheer, seems like they werent listening the speech carefully or they couldnt understand it

It was the maximum capacity crowd.

i agree but the capicity was itself very small, but good to see local balochis came

.
didnt expect such few people for a capital city like quetta, the small towns of punjab had bigger numbers

The venure was changed at the last moment because of rain, and the current venue was cramped.

Yaar, thats not fair, they came to make a change and if you have attended a PTI jalsa you would know that the mood is entirely festive and cheerful. People are excited. I have seen the most parhay likhay people in concerts go nuts over Atif Aslam type characters, you can surely excuse the most deprived people in Pakistan to be happy with a person who they deem would change their lives.

These things are not always in control and not a one off incident either. Balochistan CM and Governor can't hold a rally that big any more without the need for special security.

the media coverage I must say was not upto the mark, they didnot cover the "story" though covered ImranKhan's speech... it seems they are under some sort of pressure

anyway now they are showing the pieces of dead bodies from the plane crash quite frankly... and live !!

Is this man a genius ? ... Whatever he predicts happens ... I think today Imran can claim truly that he is the 2nd nationally acclaimed leader after Bhutto... Known across Pakistan . Can Nawaz Sharif do something similar I'm Quetta and Karachi ? Hell no ... Pindi is a very Good choice and it will rock Pindi ...

keeping my eyes has been difficult simply going through this thread i can only imagine how emotional is must have been to actually be there .
Let this also be a big f uck you to the enemies who are trying to divide us with separatism this is Quetta capital city of BALOCHISTAN bitches one pakistan united we stand forever :pakistan:

. . .
he blames every thing on NS ...i think he needs to divert him attention on others as well ... NOW its getting kinda boring & irritating ... :P

Exactly, It’s just like when a “character” wonderfully done by an average actor in a film/drama etc., and acknowledge by populace as well but that average actor just stuck in it forever, the remaining entire career to the end of it is just a replica of that original performance once applauded. The average mind didn’t know how to versatile LOL.

However, I do appreciate this Jalsa of PTI in Quetta for various reasons, sure gathering is not that big but nonetheless, we do remember this is Quetta. Imran definitely a crowd puller, this is his strong point no doubt about it but at the same time I must say that at moment all his politics revolves around this strong pillar of him rather of PTI since 30th Oct to this day.

DS do you know or anyone else, how many prominent figures i.e. sardars from Baluch & Pashtun tribes attended the gathering, further there are rumors even from Imran himself that someone important will join PTI at the jalsa, any news on it??. The end of the day what is matters most to his political office bid is absence as information in this thread, I’m afraid that versatility might not be missed here as usual exactly to the fate of PTI for quite sometime of recent past.

The complete speech of Imran Khan at Quetta Jalsa.

The environment was electric and there was intense positivity in the air - comments by a friend who attended the Jalsa.
