Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insafs candidate Inayat Khattak announced on Friday to boycott the re-polling in PS-128, Karachi, scheduled for Saturday (today).
He said that the decision to this effect was taken due to absolute disregard of PTIs demand for holding re-polling in the entire constituency and not just in the six selected polling stations. He said that the PTI has already submitted before the Election Commission to hold re-polling in the entire PS-128 constituency under the army supervision.
Khattak said that his party had also demanded installation of closed-circuit cameras at the polling stations as well as the deployment of army personnel at the polling booths so as to avert any chance of rigging.
Sindh Assemblys PS-128 constituency mainly comprises Karachis Quaidabad area.According to the Election Commissions website, PTI candidate Khattak received 3,557 votes during the May 11 polling.
The Muttahida Qaumi Movements Waqar Hussain Shah was in the leading position with 23,496 votes, while Aurangzeb Farooqui of the Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamaat (ASWJ), part of the Muttahida Deeni Mahaz (MDM), secured 21,332 votes. The ANP has already announced boycotting re-election in only six polling stations, demanding that the elections should be held in the entire constituency.

clear hypocracy here, why boycott PS-128 after they participated the polling in NA250
