Pakistan Telecommunications Company Limited (PTCL) has introduced the next-generation wireless broadband — CharJi EVO — offering ultrafast un-interrupted connectivity at speeds up to 36Mbps. Available in convenient Mi-Fi clouds and dongles, the service, which is the addition to PTCL’s epic EVO family of products already serving millions of users across the country, will be initially available in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore and Karachi and would be expanded to other major cities later. Thanks to the introduction of Charji Evo by PTCL, Pakistan has found itself among a few countries where such ultrafast broadband connectivity is available. “EVO broadband service will enable access to data-rich products and enhance high speed broadband access for customers. We believe high speed broadband is a catalyst for growth and that it should be accessible to everyone,” PTCL’s Chief Marketing Officer, Furqan Qureshi, said. Both Mi-Fi Charji and dongles devices comes up with backward compatibility, means in case the customer uses the device where the coverage of service is not available, it can fall back to the Rev A or Rev B network to offer 9.3 mbps speeds or to 3.1 mbps speeds, which is available in more than 250 cities of the country. Charji Evo supports up to ten simultaneous connections on MiFi Clouds (depending on the model).

depends on what and where you downloading from, what is Pakistan's backbone bandwidth and how many people are busy watching porns

This 4g gives better ping on online gaming then PTCL dsl...strange.

A 36mbps from PTCL may be like a V8 engine in suzuki mehran .....pathetic experience for last half an year or so....at branch level the guys suck big time ....i hope a competitor soon arrives so to force them to emphasize on quality services

Actually this time they are giving better service, speeds are good, you can get 1.5 mb/sec + dl speed any time, the only down side is the connection is capped.you can't download more then 50gb or else you'll be charged.

Luckily i got nayatel at my end and will soon be switching to it...PeeTCL really sucks and especially for those who do online gaming :(

B.C, why don't you open youtube. Even we need to use proxies for Youtube:guns::guns:
Government don't know its priorities. That's why 3G and 4G auction were unsuccessful,
Damn, 5 times less than expected.

The worst thing is whenever you register a complaint ..all of them will point their guns at you saying , there must be something wrong with your wiring ...........fcuk ...........there isnt a single day i think in last 6 months or so where i havent faced the issue of frequent disconnection/no internet access ....and 0 out of 10 for their branch staff ...never show up until you fcuk your brains out and visit twice a day for a week to make them realize it really isnt working ....and if it ain't work for few days more i will be doomed!!!
