hi, can anyone give some information about the required phyiscal standarts in the army?

Thx wiseman I got this from the thread you have given me:
1.6 Km Run –7.5 Minutes (others say 6 min)
Push Ups – 15 repetitions in 2 Minutes
Sit Ups –15 repetitions in 2 Minutes
Chin Ups –3 repetitions in 2 Minutes

15 reps for push ups in 2 min? how many of you guys would be able to join with that? I am not aa body builder but it doesnt sound too hard to me

Later, at Sialkot, COAS witnessed the demonstration and competition of the new system of physical training called PACES (Physical Agility and Combat Efficiency System) which is aimed at improving physical standards through scientific techniques. COAS lauded the standards achieved by officers and troops and distributed prizes to winners.

No idea, must be something close to what the Commando platoon guys of a regular infantry unit does.

Whats the time limit for each exercise?? Do you have to do these at one shot or is there any breaks in between.

Yup its not hard but the real problem is medical test and interview.
