PSLV C-36 Launch Set for December 7th

So, it was the final orbital Indian Launch of the year.:)
So, this year,
6 PSLVs,
1 GSLV
1 Scamjet Propulsion Experiment
1 RLV-TD
And possibly a Pad Abort test by end of the month.:)

I don't know if it can be used for defence purposes, i.e. for missile(ICBM) detection.
Though I hope so.:victory1:

So how dose this help us as INDIANS and Humans?
  1. Space Based Inputs for Decentralized Planning (SIS-DP)
  2. National Urban Information System (NUIS)
  3. ISRO Disaster Management Support Programme (ISRO-DMSP)
  4. Biodiversity Characterizations at landscape level
  5. Preharvest crop area and production estimation of major crops.
  6. Drought monitoring and assessment based on vegetation condition.
  7. Flood risk zone mapping and flood damage assessment.
  8. Hydro-geomorphological maps for locating underground water resources for drilling well.
  9. Irrigation command area status monitoring
  10. Snow-melt run-off estimates for planning water use in down stream projects
  11. Land use and land cover mapping
  12. Urban planning
  13. Forest survey
  14. Wetland mapping
  15. Environmental impact analysis
  16. Mineral Prospecting

How does space tech help us ?
Well if their is a alien invasion or Earth destroying comet or aestroid approaching us , i am sure you dont want only the americans to escape to the safety of Mars ? JK☺.

Defence .. spy on our neighbours.
Monsoon prediction for farmers.
Cyclone prediction .. already saved tens of thousands of lives.
Comunication satellites .. why pay others for transponders. India has around 750 cable channels . Tatasky uses indian satellites.
Sell all of the above facilties to other countries and generate jobs in India.

Don't be lazy, watch the video.
Come on I deserve to be a bit Lazy after night shift... ;-)

Thanks for saving me some time...

"This is the first time we used our own Navic System to navigate PSLV. The Navic processor and receiver helped navigate PSLV."

excerpt from ISRO briefing !

This video is worth its weight in gold . First time i am seeing a Indian satellite extending its solar panels.
So the camera is mounted on the payload adaptor or mount .

Congratulations India and all the best on all future missions as well.

Just for the record - I have immense respect for India's space program.

I somewhere heard that Pakistan wants to have 11 satellites by 2040. India can do that job way cheaper and faster that number of satellites can even with doubled. Would love to have Pak in list of customers.:P
