Proximity and complementarity strengthen China-Mongolia ties

Mongolia is a landlocked country in eastern Central Asia. It’s bordered by Russia to the north and China on the other three sides.

Close to a third of the population are nomadic or semi-nomadic, giving the country the nickname "a nation on horseback."

The cuisine relies mostly on dairy, meat, and animal fat. Mutton dominates, usually roasted plain.Homes are the traditional round tents, known as yurts. Herding and minerals are the primary industries. Minerals account for more than 80 percent of exports.

China is one of Mongolia’s biggest trade partners. Chinese companies operate in several major sectors in Mongolia. The most important are mining, construction, and trade services. An estimated 80 percent of imports are from China. Beijing’s demand for commodities like coal has underwritten Mongolia’s rapid growth.

Trade ties have not only promoted economic development at the state level, but also brought benefits to ordinary people. The progress of the China-Mongolia relationship is evident in the number of Chinese tourists visiting Mongolia each year.

"We brought out many souvenirs during this year’s Naadam festival. Lots of Chinese people came to buy traditional Mongolian clothes and food." said souvenir salesperson.

Naadam means "game" or "entertainment" in Mongolian. Men gather to compete in traditional sports like wrestling, horse racing, and archery. Tourists from around the world come to watch. The festival is also celebrated in China’s Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.

Last month, express train service began between Hohhot in Inner Mongolia and the Mongolian capital Ulaanbaatar. Many people on both sides say this will bring the two countries even closer.

. . . .
Racially speaking, yes, they are the same. But culturally and linguistically , there are obvious nuances.

Obvious nuances.
This two words do not match each other.

These two words form the basic syntax. 'Obvious' is the adjective , which describes 'nuance', which is the noun.

Let me elaborate for you:

ob·vi·ous
ˈäbvēəs/
adjective
adjective: obvious
easily perceived or understood; clear, self-evident, or apparent.
"unemployment has been the most obvious cost of the recession"

nu·ance
ˈn(y)o͞oˌäns/

noun: nuance; plural noun: nuances
1
.
a subtle difference in or shade of meaning, expression, or sound.
"the nuances of facial expression and body language"

Of course. Mongolia language, culture, China also have. Do not forget, China has more Mongolian compared Mongolia:azn:
The difference is that the text is the Cyrillic alphabet in Mongolia, China's traditional Mongolian.
don't forget once the two countries is a country in a long time.

btw, Xi Jinping may really have Mongolian descent. His ancestors native is Nanyang in Henan Province,
There are one hundred thousand descendants of the Mongols in Nanyang, Scattered in Dengzhou city and Zhenping County and other places around , xi jinping's ancestors come from zhenping county:rolleyes1:

I mean the meaning of this two words are contradictory, not grammar.
Using "Obvious" to describe " nuance" is not very suitable .

Precisely. I would also clarify that most East Asian and some South East Asians all belong to the wider family of the Mongol Race, with phenotypic characteristics such as epicanthal eye folds, high cheek bones, Mongol birth mark. Either the descendents are proto-Mongol to the migration of latter Mongol within the last 3-5 thousand years.

In regards to Mongolian and Chinese History, the two are intertwined. One cannot deny the direct influence of the Mongolian society on China ergo, the Yuan Dynasty.

Your examples of current Mongolian ethnic groups living within China today further elaborates on these population dynamics.

Qing Dynasty influence today more. Manchu culture affected by the Mongols, Manchus influence Han
Today there are seven million Mongolians in China.:crazy_pilot:I am talking about the Mongols/mongolians, not Mongoloid

Inner Mongolia GDP per capital : $11,000
Mongolia GDP per capital : $3,971

Many Mongolians are jealous of Inner Mongolia's development.

.
That's pretty cool. I've always been amazed and intrigued by continental North East Asian culture(s). Manchu and Mongol cultures , to be exact. I think the food and type of cooking in these areas are similar to my region -- which is Hokkaido , Japan. There is emphasis on meat on our food -- Beef, Pork, Sheep, Goat.
