As for Egg shape, there is model of heaven and earth that's egg shaped. But not found, like the Globe.

Find me one ayat in Quran stating that Earth is in orbit. Moon, sun, stars are all said to be in orbit multiple times, but earth - not once.

What you want to see depends on you, if you think the clouds are aligning to spell something you'll see it, but others won't. If you want proof of how the earth is round it's simple you believe it to be round and then look how the whole solar system works and does it make sense.
If you believe the earth is flat, than think does the solar system work now. Does everything around you make any sense. If the earth is flat why doesn't all the water in the oceans turn into a giant waterfall at it's edges, as all flat things have edges.

As for the north star this article clearly explains as Polaris or the north star could be any star aligned with the north pole. Our current Polaris used to be called Phoenice and it does move but to see the movement you must live for hundreds of years. People might see this movement in future as we are recording it now for the future generations.
