Those who watched the game between Bangladesh and Afghanistan, Ramiz Raja, commentator was favouring the Afghans from the very first delivery of the match over Bangladeshis. And as far as the Tigers are concerned, they were on the receiving end of some good reality words.

Ramiz Raja is absolutely RIGHT on Bangladesh Cricket performance after 15 years in World Cricket!

Also take Rameez's comments with a pinch of salt. He just wants to see the Bengladesh team do well, I guess. I have never heard of him having a negative view on Bangladesh. Even if he did say something lets ignore it for better ties between our nations.

Build bridges. What hurts someone shouldn't be said. Pakistan team is also extremely weak, loosing match after match. If we become a weak team like Bangladesh it will be because of people like you. God punishes those who are overly proud. Perhaps thats why Bangladesh was granted victory over India.

Also be careful, no one knows the future, but maybe tomorow Bengal and Pakistan will be one? Then will we continue to look down on Bengalis as weak and inferior or lacking martial capabilities.

When seamer-allrounder Soumya Sarkar came on to bowl against the Afghans, Rameez referred to him as “Sumaiya Sarkar” - a mistake which is really unbecoming of a top commentator. Not only that, he is probably the only commentator in the world who calls Shakib al Hasan “Sakibul”. Not known for toning down, Rameez also refers to every Bangladesh cricketer with the name Rahman as “Rehman”.

We all know there is diction difference all over the world. For example, in south India, names ending with "T" are always written and pronounced as "TH". Though I personally dont like it but thats how it works.

Also, we all are aware how much Bengali tongue different then the rest of the continent. They always speak as if their mouth full of betel leaves. p: No offence). So it is very easy for an outsider to miss the exact diction which Bengalis use.

The correct pronunciation is the the one Rameez used. U people even call Junaid as Zunaid. And also there is no such thing as Shakib its Saqib.

The emergence of India and Pakistan as major cricketing countries came during the 90s. Pakistan as well as India had a decent, not best, team those days. Bear in mind that the likes of Gavaskar and MAK Pataudi were playing for India in that era. But the little extra was missing.

bangladesh was only an associate in 1977, much like Ireland and UAE are today. They were not a full fledged memeber. But still it shows the lack of cricketing ability in them.

Ireland has time and again played well. In 3 world cups they had three victories against major ICC countries. Pakistan, England and now WI. If not test status then at least Ireland deserves more exposure from ICC. If they can bet on a team like bangladesh they can as well support any other team.
