Nothing unusual.Embassy officials has blamed India with locked eyes.
Afghans are the biggest victim of terrorism..They have all right to protest.

actually they can due to the fact that they had learnt in English language centers in Peshawar. a large number of these mostly filled with Afghans.

ISLAMABAD: Scores of supporters for ex-Afghan intelligence chief Amrullah Saleh staged on Friday a protest demonstration outside the Pakistani embassy in Kabul, and chanted anti-Pakistan slogans.

“The demonstrators used abusive language against Pakistan,” embassy spokesperson Akhtar Munir told The Express Tribune.

General (retd) Esa, deputy to the former Afghan intelligence chief, led the rally to protest against the recent bomb attacks in Kabul and Kandahar, which killed nearly 60 people, including five UAE diplomats. The Afghan Taliban claimed responsibility for the Kabul attack but denied hand in the Kandahar bombing.

The embassy spokesperson said Saleh’s supporters organised the anti-Pakistan rally because of his “strong links with India”. “The diplomatic staff could not go to the embassy due to security concerns,” Munir said. The demonstrators dispersed after staging the hour-long protest at a close proximity of the embassy compound, he added.



COAS denounces Afghan bombings

Munir said the embassy officials contacted senior Afghan administration for security as the demonstrators came close to the embassy building. “Pakistanis have never demonstrated outside the Afghan embassy in Islamabad or its diplomatic missions despite terrorist attacks in Pakistan,” he said.

Analysts in Afghanistan believe the recent attacks in Kabul, Kandahar and Helmand exposed the weakness of the Afghan security agencies as all the attacks were carried out in security zones.

Some Afghans also questioned the role of the Kandahar police chief, General Raziq, who disappeared from the guest house at the time of the suicide bombing in Kandahar. The UAE ambassador and Kandahar governor were among the injured.

Move on everyone. They're just peeved that we are not allowing another 10 million Afghans to come and live in Pakistan. Frustrations are clear......

I wholeheartedly agree with the above. The biggest mistake Pakistan made was helping the great ungratefuls beat the Soviets. We should have left them to it. The Afghans would have been better off under their domination.

look every country has people with different opinion and different interest groups. some will support you some will oppose. these protests in kabul since long had always been sponsored not indigenous. even if genuine once in a blue moon even then we should not be bothering much.

The Taliban wouldn't hold 39% of Afghanistan without native support, Afghan govt. has a very corrupt perception, and people would rather turn to the Taliban for governance. Also outside of Kabul, much of the country relies on local 'warlords' who act as ruling kings in return for recognizing the Afghan government, and of course the people don't want that either and so supporting the Taliban is the only alternative they have.

Also, if you honestly believe the ISI is supporting the Taliban, then why not protest your own government to enforce border control? Why not question military intelligence for not stopping attacks in 'safe zones'? Why allow America and its allies to constantly bomb Afghan civilians?
