Progressive development in Yasukuni

this is a big effort, in refering to the self respect of Japanese.

.
So you're saying that Japanese people visiting Yasukuni is equivalent to us spitting in your face, right?

Let me infer a rhetorical question, do you think some people are insulted when some Chinese leaders visit the graves of Mao? Or what about the monument to the 1979 Sino Vietnam War, or what about the monument to the 1962 Sino Indian War?

I don't think Germans get angry when Russians visit their war commemorations , nor do we Japanese care when the Americans celebrate anniversary events in Iwo Jima, Okinawa, Rabaul, Pearl Harbor or the like. We commemorate with each other, actually.

It's disturbing to read your post. And as what @LeveragedBuyout pointed out, over the 30 some years Japan played a role in helping China industrialize, the hundreds of billions of dollars worth in investments, the political collaborations, the agreements of good faith such as the moratoriums, the fishing agreements et al. But your post illustrates that there still is a fomenting of hatred for Japan and for us Japanese.

You incessantly refer to our honoring of our soldiers' souls as "spitting in your face". You should read more into Japanese concept of honor and respecting the dead. After all you are dealing with us Japanese. Perhaps there is a dichotomy between us and you Chinese in regards to that filial duty.

I fear that even after these 14 individuals are removed, some Chinese will protest and future politicians will milk the history for political clout. In that regards, what's the point at all?

After all, Japan, in my opinion , has done already so much for China.

Then to hear such discouraging points of view such as those that you showed. I can't help but feel a disgusting taste in my mouth after reading such words.

You can feel whatever pleases you the most.

The germans lost, you lost, Germany and Japan completely submits to US, I'm not talking colony, or puppet, I simply mean, you have no intention of challenging the US's global ambitions.

As I repeated pointed out, Mao is Chinese, whatever happens is between family. You are not, last time I checked. You can make a million arguments here, but no Chinese will agree with you.

There is no hatred for you, why can't you understand it, nobody in China gives a damn what you do or why you do it, the only thing we care about is you are standing in the way of our prize fight, and that's not cool dude.

You think China's final goal is to defeat you? It's not, and it has happened, we moved on, as it happens Japan is caught in the middle of China and US, if you don't believe me, why are we doing what we are doing to Philippines then, they didn't partake in the Japanese invasion.

It's a super power world, while we aren't a super power yet, Japan will never be a super power, so the new world has no room for you, it's us vs US, and maybe India can also be involved, depending on how things play out.

As to industrialization, consider it payment for all the culture we gave you over the years, why do you think your emperor is called the emperor in the first place. Even not taking that into account, you benefitted too, it wasn't AID to Africa kinda deal, you got profits, if we are going to sit here and consider business to be anything other than that, then you must give us all Japanese interest in China, then we can be grateful to you, cause then it wouldn't be business. As it stands, it's business, the cash that you got is literally payment.

Lastly, stop saying what Japanese think, unless you can get 1.3 billion Chinese to think like you, nobody gives a crap.

There you again with your vague and indirectness. Say what you really want to say, dude. You keep on referring to this 'prize fight' Just be direct with me, Genesis. No need to beat around the bush. lol

what bush, I clearly stated what I wanted to say right below that paragraph. What's not to understand, which part of Japan won't be a super power and thus cannot be in the ring didn't you understand.

Heavy weights can't fight middle weights, it's mean, now Japan like Roy Jones can win a belt when the competition is nothing, but against the Kilitchkos he's going to get killed. Same deal here, you may defeat us that one time when we were at our weakest, but today, not going to happen.

I don't want to deviate this thread to talks about war or future wars , as I don't think that is conducive to any proper intellectual debate. The only reason why I addressed you is because , from my personal observation, I had thought / perceived your reference to a fight -- referring that you want China to war with Japan. Perhaps I was wrong, I'd be happy to read your clarification.

Clarify with me about this "prized fight" that you've mentioned in your previous post.

war? Maybe, maybe not, some expect it, I personally cannot be sure, there are reasons to believe in it and reasons to doubt it, for now I have more reason to think no war will happen.

Do I want a war with Japan? Not necessarily. I'm mixed on the idea, and mostly feel it'll do more harm than good, as no developed nation has gone to war and lost recently and I rather Japan not be the first.

Prize fight means the fight for Asia and eventually global supremacy, I don't think China can achieve the US level power, not because we can't reach US level or even surpass it, but because US isn't today's China.

I don't mean war here, that's crazy, I mean proxy wars, economic battles, political battles, soft power battles, ad much more.

I want a good fight, but fighting isn't punching, I have never in my entire life been in a fight that wasn't officiated by qualified refs and trainers.

Barbarians fight with their fist, civilized men fight with their brain.

Also you seem to think I hate Japan and Japanese, nothing is further from the truth, I have Sushi every week, the only Asian Girlfriends I had are Japanese (these two had a lot to do with where I lived), and I used to be a huge fan of Anime when I was younger, I literally seen everything pre-2004 and post 2000s, yea super nerd back then and still sort of.

My attitude towards Japan is purely business, not in the least personal.

I have a Japanese car right now, and had one before too. Good rides, it's class and comfort in one.
