This movie is about love and loyalty. Not a martial movie.

What's martial movie? A bunch of stupid guys fight with each other for no reasons.

But it's good entertainment. A lot better than the 無厘頭 movies we got from HK from the 90s and to some extent from mainland China.

Monster Hunt is one of them. When you have a cast with Erica Tsang, Sandra Ng, you gonna get a lot of stupid HK nonsense.

They are rich, but doesn't mean I have to like their movies. I've seen enough of Sandra Ng's movies from the 90s to not like her.

Seems to me that the good ol' days of the 90s was the best time for both Japanese and Chinese romance ballads. One particular favorite Chinese (Cantonese) singer of mine during this period was Jacky Cheung , i don't know if many of you remember him? But i remember when I was going to Hong Kong on summer vacations, his songs would be playing all the time in the malls, or on the radio stations.

One song that comes to mind:

The legendary Zhang Xueyou also sang 中国节拍·震动世界 back in 2012 when the whole world eagerly watched the Summer Olympics in London.
